Reviewing my Trophy/Gaming Backlog | Plan of Action to Raise my Completion in 2022 🏆📈 Part 1

One of my goals of the year has been to try and raise my completion level a little higher. In order to do that I've gone through my trophy list to identify any games from the backlog that I can pick up some trophies or finish in order to hit my goal of 75%. A plague tale innocence is a really easy game to platinium, as long as you don't mind getting all of the collectables. However with a guide they are really simple, and there are some missable ones that can be collect after the game is finished. I finished this game last year and it may now be one of my best games of last year. Also just a heads up on destruction all stars, do not even try as it is pain stakenly hard as no one plays the game anymore and the only way to get them is to go in a boosting looby, as that is the way i got the platinium for the game. I was in a trophy funk recently, after AC Vallhala, Fenyx Rising and Watchdog legions all bugged out on me on the last trophy after hundreds of hours of game play. Do i need to play the first Horizon to understand the 2nd? I pre-ordered part 2 (West) so I will be playing that and I have the first Horizon game from the free monthly PS plus games added. I will play much later cos my list for games is long enough

I've been in PSNProfiles list clean up mode the last couple of weeks, i've gone from 74.5% to 78% completion so far i've done: - All burnout paradise DLC - STEEP 1% - 100% - The Surge 1% - 100% - All Goat Simulator DLC - Currently working on all borderlands 3 DLC for the second time Hoping to get up to maybe around 85% completion, but it's gonna be a long road. Great minds think alike! I did the same thing a few weeks ago but with the goal of getting plats in my backlog as opposed to completion rate. I've got 14 games on my list but I hope to platinum at least 10 of them this year.

The PS5 versions/updates of The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 are gonna have new trophy lists, so you wont be able to get trophies into your ps4 trophy lists you already started earning throphies in.

I've been doing a lot of backlog and DLC cleaning as well in the last few years ! By checking the Internet Wayback Machine website I found my completion rate on the 20/12/2014 and it was 65.57% (14 games completed out of 58 and 1,079 unearned trophies). Today I stand at 92.85% (84 completed games out of 123 and 474 unearned trophies) - it feels really good :)

even before i become a trophy hunter i always knew that if im gonna buy a game i definatelly gonna at least finish the story, so i dont have a "yellow box", Also when i was thinking about clearing my backlog i thought that if im not gonna plat the game then there is not point to just go back and pop some trophies here and there, but after i saw your plan i actually reconsider that thought and im gonna try and get some trophies here and there, it should be fun not to worry about difficult trophies and jump from one game to another, it will raise my completion percentage after all, thanks!

This was very fun, yet stressful to watch. 😅 You seemed very conflicted with it all. Raising your completion percentage is so satisfying, so long as you're still enjoying yourself. It's quite a list, but I believe you can pull it off. Provided, you don't add any new games you're not too certain about. And hey, Fallout 4 is not so bad, alright. 😔

You might find it useful to install PSNP+ which is a browser script made by a PSNP user. There’s a pinned thread for it under Forum - PC & Desktops. One of the many useful functions is the ability to create custom lists of games. You could take the lists you have already made and create them on PSNP so you have quick and easy access to the trophy lists without having to search or scroll for them. Good luck on your goal.

Even if you don’t get the 100% there are a bunch of free dlc trophies in Rocket League that you can literally knock out in a couple of hours without even going online. Nice goal Lucy. Last year I set myself the goal of reaching 75% as well. I actually managed exceed that goal and reach almost 77%. This year my goal is to reach 85%.

I'm always going through my previously played backlog trying to complete games that I played and didn't 100% before I really started to go for achievements/trophies. This has sparked my interest to go for Skyrim again though so that one is writen in my book & ready to get completed this month (hopefully, 37/75 is my starting point)

Good luck with your backlog goal 😊 It's a shame you didn't enjoy Hitman 2, those 125 trophies would have gone a long way towards your goal, and they aren't difficult to do. I loved those Hitman rebooted trilogy games 😊

You can change your truetrophies completion percentage to inlcude all dlc if you want to in the settings Lucy.

I definitely recommend going back to Nioh! You said you'd just play and beat the game if you go back to it, but the platinum is very easily obtainable at that point, so long as you haven't skipped any side missions. I think it was like my 3rd platinum ever because it was so closely within reach that I saw no reason not to do it, even before I started trophy hunting. To this day it remains one of my favorite journeys! Dlc trophies are a pain in the ass though, but it sounds like you won't be getting dlc ayways

I’m currently at just under 45%, hoping to up it to 50 this year. I consider myself a trophy hunter but DEFINITELY used to fire up games knowing I’ll never finish them. I also have a bunch at under 5% from the early days of Plus where I’d just start them and stop.

One bright side to coming over to PlayStation late (I want to say 2017) means even though I only started really trophy hunting in 2020, I only have a few years worth of backlog, so upping my completion probably won't be difficult. I think you can do the DLC for Overcooked 2, Little Nightmares, and Guacamelee 1 and 2. Also Uncharted 4 survival since I'm working on that too and its easy when you know how to do the glitches👀

Lucy you have hidden trophies on ur account, this means you hid a game on your account where you earned trophies for. So your completion rate might be lower then it shows. If you’re planning to improve your list you should get rid of those hidden trophies, since hidden trophies means either what you’re doing or they are cheated/hacked trophies. Great vid tho, very motivational 👍🏻

A plague tale is probably the easiest one on your list. You can use the PS5 activity cards to show you where the collectibles are and has a tracker built into the trophies. You don’t need to keep looking up a guide on your phone while you play. You platinumed Hellblade and the collectibles in that sucked.

@@LudiXP Well just as a tiny note, it might be possible if the games in question "autopop" trophies by sharing the same savefile, similar to what Spiderman or Soundshapes did, but you might have to look that up for each game and see if it does work like that or not. So IF is possible, you can play the ps5 version and the open the ps4 one and autopop those.

Lego Avengers and A Plague Tale are the easiest games on that list. You could finish both of them in a week. A week and a half at most. If it were me I'd do them first and get them out of the way. (Though I already have both of them) All those other games are going to take a long time.

Nothing wrong or creepy about having a crush. It’s a compliment. I see Lucy as a competitor of mine, inspiring me to go after trophies and to challenge myself beyond my initial expectations. Her way of looking at trophies and organising them is cool! As long as you love the game, trophies are even easier to obtain. But collectibles suck (I’m talking to you AC).

Dar Lucy, not that your presumtion is flawed....but it is. You said that you won't buy DLC in order to not change your habits . Trust me- you will. First, if you are willing to invest time you will eventually be willing to invest some minor amounts of money...that will become a sad reality, as I had literarily the same goal as you to never buy DLC but I still do sometimes. Second, you will realize that much more games will have DLC in order to count to 100%. Third, many DLC's are also quite great or at least good, look at the Witcher DLCs, the Bioshock Infinite DLC, some Assassin's Creed DLCs etc. Just try to play and enjoy games, and to see your true value and your own critique, this is much more important than some idiotic number tbh.
