Please, this man is beating about the bush. He failed to talk about the worst judgements in the history of Nigeria made during the tenure of the outgoing chief judge. The senate president, former senate and Tambuwal were not qualified to contest for the senate having contested presidential primaries in their various political parties. But the supreme court ruled against the electoral law passed by the senate and signed into law by president Buhari which stated that no person will contest for two positions in the same electoral circle. There are so many contradictory rulings by different courts during his tenure. To me he performed below average

I don't think he would make a good Chief Judge. Some of the arguments he makes when he is called for interviews are not based on law, but emotions. Even if they are good emotions, that is wrong. Of course it is far better than what we have now where they knowingly interpret the constitution wrongly to favour their friends, but it is still wrong. What is required is someone who interprets the constitution in the context of how it was written, not how he feels
