Its clear that the developers never intended for stage builder to have much depth. People have created some impressive looking stuff, but most of that is only possible with unintended techniques.

@@dreamlanderjoel8162 halo 3 forge was basically a way for players to play their own maps with their own rules, items weapons, vehicles, etcetera, what the developers didnt expect is that players would actually make their own miniature games from it, there where race maps, zombie escape maps, jenga maps, just to name a few, it was probably the most fun I had playing halo 3 online

I want a ton of the stuff from brawl and that's all. Lava is not the same as spikes, we don't have stairs, there isn't enough space either. Even doing the size up trick I can almost never make a map that works with 8 players

That's the real issue here. Many custom stages are created with only the visual aspect in mind and some don't realize that. A stage looking good doesnt mean its fun to play on.

@@oranjolt probably they know about it, but since it’s just an extra mode, a lot of people use Stage Builder to draw and animate characters rather than actually making stages, many would rather play on the normal stages, while only the more hardcore knowing, be annoyed by the issue, AND they’ve found a (not so) perfect fix, they’re not going to bother actually fixing the “platforms”, or very much any issue regarding Stage Builder sadly :,c That mode besides the fixes, they could’ve kept updating it with new materials, backgrounds, adding the ability to swap backgrounds and lighting at will after the stage is created, the ability to see and turn on/off grabable ledges, being able to tag blocks as “decorative” so the CPUs don’t try to go through the wall in order to recover from a platform or edge that’s being used as filler inside the main platform, etc. With what it already has everyone can do a LOT, and it’s easily the best Stage Builder of all games (even with flaws), but mother, it’s still open to improvements,

@@oranjolt and maybe glowing terrain, that work similar to the Lava and Ice terrain where they’re really not that affected by the stage’s lighting, but not actually casting light, I made a NiGHTS stage of a city at night, but I wish the yellow windows in the main platform (I made to be the top of a building) were lit and yellow

I do hate the fact the camera in creation stages are so ass and I gave up using it because of the ledge grab glitch. I just ignore it and pretend it doesn't exist. Got me so excited then they shit all over itband no patches to fix it. Meaning to Nintedo its not important to them.😢😡

There's a workaround for the ledge grab glitch, don't write the mode off when you openly admit you barely touched it. Stop making ignorant claims that they took a shit all over it because it's not 100% perfect in every way.

There was a lot of thought into the stage creator. My only gripe is the camera angles. My little brother love the stage builder but the camera just spudders around. If their was a patch to fix it I would try it more. You got to admit about the camera tho

What bothers me about Ultimate's stage builder is the small amount of stage weight you're allowed. Also, why does stage weight have any reason to affect the number of fighters that can spawn? If G.C.O. can support 8 fighters, why does half of the custom stage weight limit you to 4?

Performance mostly, that's why Stage Weight can cut off how many players. To preemptively account for the really complex stages
