Reviewing Reba McEntire's Restaurant

Eating at riba mcintyre's restaurant called riba's place in atoka oklahoma. I go into the restaurant and give an honest review of the service and the food.

I’ve been asked to play in several cover bands but would rather play a variety of peoples music as well as my own and friends music. I agree that that was like 3X more than it was worth. We go to a mom and pop close by and something like that would be 8 bucks. And it would taste fantastic. Love your restaurants reviews.

I asked to switch a side at Ruby Tuesday’s (not to a premium side, same classification) and when the bill came it was full price, not the 1/2 price that I had a coupon for. When I asked about it she told me since I made a substitution that it was no longer valid. Didn’t say on the coupon “no substitutions” and she didn’t mention that small tidbit of info when I made the change (she knew I had the 1/2 off coupon). They are pulling every trick in the book to get their money.

I love Reba. When my daughter was younger she looked like her. Anytime you eat at a celebrity's restaurant you're going to pay higher prices. I wonder if she even knows how much they're charging? I guess you can see why the guy coming out of the restaurant said what he said 😆 💜

She has an Executive Chef making the menu and running the kitchen and all of the ingredients come in on a Sysco food supplier truck. She has a retail store to hawk all of her Made in China garbage with high sticker prices.

I'm a canadian from Montreal and I'm aways surprised how little vegetables are given in a plate from a typical american restaurant. I went to Lake Placid recently and ended up eating lot's of fried food, much carbs (like rice or potatoes) and no veggies. I was happy to return back home after a week.

I have found the dumpy/ghetto looking places have the best food. We have one breakfast and lunch place which looks dumpy on the outside, and is decent food wise. They unfortunately had to raise prices up during the COVID pandemic, but it is still cheap.

I’ve never been there before but Paula Deens in Savannah has gone south. It was always expensive but now they don’t have the buffet & no matter how much you pay for your meal you can’t take what’s left to go. For 2 ppl at lunch was over $100 (with tip) but a lot got left that was just going in the trash. If u pay for it it’s yours.

The singer sounds so annoying. The country fried steak looks so delicious. Love your review of the place. Yes the steak is suppose to be crunchy. Go to Ozark Missouri and eat at Lamberts, they throw the rolls across the room to you. Great food, they have ppl walk around with pass around foods and keep adding to your plate. Very good place to eat!

Wow! When I go to a restaurant, I’m looking for 3 things.. large portions, good food and reasonable prices.i just don’t think it’s right to charge more because of a famous person’s name on the establishment. Here in Colorado, Mike Shannahan was a head coach for the Denver Broncos. Since he retired he opened a steakhouse called Shannahans, to eat there it’s upwards of 100$ or more per person just for dinner which I think is ridiculous. I don’t know how good the food is there because I’ve never been after seeing prices on menu when I googled it.

Lamont you cant be as bad as my late husband was. He was a cook in the Army and at one time before we met he ran his own restaurant. Taking him out to eat was so bad because he would send his food back and demand to talk to the manager. We went to Dennys one day he and I and a couple of friends well needless to say he told the waitress that if the eggs came out with enough oil on them that he could use them as a slip and slide he was gonna go in the kitchen and teach the cooks how to cook.

Question. Was there a dance floor there? I have found The restaurants that have live music and dance floors generally don’t have really good food. But I agree the upcharges were too high. I’ve noticed a lot of restaurants going to that.

Reminds me of Pawhuska, another Oklahoma town which was invested in by “The Pioneer Woman” who has a restaurant and mercantile there. I respect the fact these people have invested something back into these small places.

I rarely eat out these days as its been costing me upwards of $50. And that's like basic chicken parm (or similar meal) & a beer with a tip. Just too much. Even if i do a day trip i pack a cooler with sandwiches & soda & eat in my car. Usually better & definitely cheaper. Thanks for the honest review.

Reba went to Kiowa schools lived close to Brushie, Oklahoma, Pittsburgh and string town area. I think she graduated from Kiowa my sister and her husband have a cattle farm that connects to her brothers and parents land. Her parents were good people and her sister susie I think sings just as good as sings as good if not better than Reba but sings Gospel. Hasn’t been that long sense her mother passed away. Also Reba does go in there from time to time.

The Tip Top Cafe in San Antonio has the BEST chicken fried steak. The business has been around forever. San Antonio is my home town but haven't lived there in a long time now, but I understand the cafe is still operational. I wonder if the food is still as good as it used to be. Anyhow, the chicken fried steak and gravy was so good. Lunch time used to have crowds waiting outside to get in.

Some restaurant menu items are over priced & don't taste like they should for the price they want you to pay for them. Yeah, Country fried steak is supposed to be crispy and crunchy. If the potatoes were bland they probably didn't season them

Cracker Barrel has a decent fried steak or chicken, can't tell which you were having but they have both and it's usually decent. At least it doesn't cost 30 per plate and you get to choose your sides.
