I gave the red 1/18 Maisto Cadillac Eldorado to a friend before I knew of the glaring inaccuracies on the tip of the tail fin. Now I can’t unsee that. This 1/24 model looks quite nice.

Fantastic model !!!!!! For a 1:24 scale the details are mind blowing.looks lovely in this color ,pink is a very common on this i guess.Never heard of this make white box ,to which making is this comparable to?

Whitebox also made a maroon Jaguar Mk2, also sealed diecast, I think they're comparable to MCG or KK scale in terms of exterior quality, but 1/24 scale. Overall I still think Welly is the best in 1/24 scale though, because while their exterior detail level is a tiny bit less, they make fully opening models in this scale.

I very much like this Whitebox casting! I have several 1:24 JadaToys '59 Coupe De Ville. They have a few inaccuracies but overall better than the 1:18 Maisto. I remember seeing the Maisto '59 in white but the tailfins and the proportions of the casting stopped me from buying it. Might have been a good investment but I buy what I like to keep! I just bought one, it looks very well done and the body is accurate, more so than even the DM version. I build models professionally so this one will be taken apart, I will repaint the interior to a tan color, Bare metal Foil all the trim and use the photo-etch set from Model Car Garage. Once done it will look even more exceptional. I commend Whitebox for doing this. I would love to see them do more American models.

It surpasses the Maisto in every way. The Maisto is unbelievably crude in its execution. Resin models might not have any openings features but the fidelity to scale is very good.
