Today i'm in East London reviewing the full monty breakfast. This was no mean feat. A breakfast with chips and not forgetting the burger and fried onions. Reviewing this full monty fry up was my pleasure. Proper food to start the day.

It's so English to have a cuppa tea with your breakfast and it's refreshing. We always wait for your facial expressions which tell us a lot. No words needed . It’s 2 cups of coffee for me for my breakfast,I do agree that coffee doesn’t go with food,I’m just not a breakfast person,plus I don’t eat sausages,or baked beans,though I eat other type of beans in soups,and chili. I love a small black coffee or espresso after lunch or dinner but with breakfast it's always strong tea with milk (can be canned or fresh milk)

Yeah same, tea with food coffee on its own also have sometimes gone for the burger on the fry up / grill, when it's offered, it's rare I have chips though, once in a while maybe, looks tasty 😋

Great looking food those onions looked amazing especially, although the rest of the food looked just as good. I do like a cup of tea with food especially with a fry up or sandwich - washes the food down nicely. And yes there is definitely no F in Bethnal. 😊

Oh my that was some mound of food... Definitely breakfast like a king.. Burger, well no. Scots lass here has to be Lorne Sausage. Fried onions, love the smell, but don't like them. Used to drive my family mad, my parents and siblings would love them and I just refuse to eat onions ( feel unwell). I used to work with a chap whose father was a butcher and they had steak n chips for breakfast of course with onions or a good stew.... I love the look of that fully monty but no way could I eat even half that amount but I know a husband who would scoff the full plate... Onions would be first to be devoured..... Thank you for review. I have a friend who visits her daughter in London ( from USA) and I send them places to go... I get to visit London vicariously through them and you... I used to live in Hammersmith!!!

Hello Darren, I have been following you for about a year now and think you are fantastic. I have been to a few cafes you have recommended like The Docklands Cafe which is now my favourite. I just wanted to say I'm so happy you have created just a food channel I think the content is better the filming is alot better and also the editing. Throughout lockdown I gravitated to black coffee - think I needed the extra stimulus. These days I always start the day with porridge, 2 slices of toast and TEA........ tea is back on my agenda big style

I used to be here every Thursday before my round changed; great cafe. Formerly called The Workers Cafe when the seating was fixed & you'd step over a manhole cover to reach the carsey! They gutted it & went more upmarket, warmer & more welcoming to suit the surrounding gentrification of Bethnal Green, Hackney & Bow (vegan cafes all the rage now, Cereal Killer Cafe, ugh!). Top breakfast with well sourced ingredients, I used to love their mixed kebab (chicken & kofte), well recommended. And when it shut for their holiday we'd go Starlight Cafe a little way up the Roman, more Eastend feeling, more Greasy Spoon like! Worth a go too.

I always get up early Darren, when everybody else is sleeping you are achieving and no I don't have coffee with breakfast, I have that first thing. I nipped in my local weatherspoons at 11:00 this morning and had beer with my breakfast because I had a random day off 😂 the commentary is working great.Top man great vlog 👍

What a great idea adding a burger and onions, and not some posh gourmet burger, more like the ones your mum cooked for your tea. If I’d have picked my own, I’d have the burger, fried onions, bubble and fried egg maybe even some mushrooms. The brunch looked fab, now I’m craving the burger & onions !

omg that plate of food reminds me of when ii lived in landaaarn and used to go in the Blackstock Cafe the morning after a skinful. I totally agree with the burger and onions with the chips and fried eggs. A bit of bubble was there only thing missing.

Tea contains more tannin than coffee which helps cut through any fat in food, such as fish and chips.

Great work and well done Darren. It is topclass that you keep us updated with the latest on the Cafe/breakfast front, super. The burger you had, didn't look that special and was a bit small to. Was that the frozen ones?, looks like it. About the bike helmet, it is not proper to put it on the table!. A proper gent put the helmet on the chair next to. 😁. I don't drink coffee after lunchtime and a tea just goes better with certain meals, fish and chips for instance. Getting to The Full Monty early also means you can park right outside and keep an eye on Daisy Duke.

Mate took me right back to my after skool dinner - always a burger , they never came in a bun with chips and beans … great nostalgia. And the mixed grill always had a burger without bun 👍 marvellous review as ever. Some of these places I have been to , used to work opposite the regency in the HO. But thinking I need to get out east more. South Londoners seem to just associate the east with a good ruby but some of the cafes look superb and not a ramekin with beans in , in sight thank god

Many years ago traipsing around the USA you would often find a breakfast menu including a chopped steak and eggs. Which was a larger hamburger patty served along side some eggs, hashbrowns and toast. Today, not so much. But, at a time when the shere cost of a decent size quality steak is going to push up the breakfast cost over $25 a reasonably priced and sized hamburger patty would be welcome! This was a great review by the way, breakfast looked awesome!

That breakfast looked the part, the eggs where perfect, it's a first for me seeing burger and onions on there thought the same first time I saw chips on a breakfast. But couldn't fault it, and as for drink choice always a cup o "rosie lee" and if you could get it darn sarf good ol " yorkshire tea"

That's an institution in the East End, not Peliccis status, but they serve great food, great service and the prices are great for London. I especially love their egg Benedict's with bacon, it's one of my favourites. Great review, Darren! Love the content, keep up the fabulous work. 😊

Ha the " greasy spoon " has come a long way,I've liked them both.The old-fashioned & the modern 😮 Tea is a more soothing drink,to sip as you eat😅 Coffee ia a stimulate,a get up and get gone drink😮A great lookin' plate. Food well displayed ( apart from the Redish greenstuff ?) B.G.T😂 another string to your bow😮ventriloquist 😊😊, only in fun my friend, only in fun.
