Reviewing the June 27th Balance Patch Preview for World vs. World in GW2

Are you mad that Roy talks too fast, or that Cal doesn't drink enough water? Don't sit through their June 9thTwitch vod, sit through my dumb face instead. I know it's pretty obvious that I'm reading from a script at a lot of points, but bear with me -- this is a new style of patch analysis video, and I'm still getting some of the nuance down.
I think I'm more optimistic than most people who play video games online, and there's some really interesting changes going on here, so I'm curious to see where people agree and disagree with some of the potential changes that we might see in the gamemode later this month. How viable do you think Alacrity Scourge is going to end up being? Is Renegade using Banish Enchantment worth running in a GvG context still? What do you think the best weapons are going to be on Berserker? Is it finally Gun Flame's time to shine? And just what is going on with Specter's support builds? We'll have a definitive answer soon, I suppose.

Arc divider change is bad. Damage is not only what matters. If the enemy has aegis you're gonna miss that bust damage blinds too. i do not like that this change at all, is clearly a change to make quickness berserker a thing. It will only work well in maybe pvp. cause the work of the arc divider is aoe big cleave. if they wanted to make animation better on that they needed only to take the aftercast and it would work the same. pretty boring changes for warrior.... I'm changing my class to revenant.

Blind is a problem, but there's Signet of Might to ensure that your attacks pass through Aegis, and you can also Signet of Might your skills in Longbow to get them to go through projectile reflects. I think people may start running that to make sure that their Arc Divider damage connects reliably if they choose to use GS. Good point though. :)
