The reason it feels like the bit is locked in is because the groove that is machined into the hex portion of the bit. Inside the screwdriver there should be at least one ball bearing that is pushed into that groove by a spring once the bit is inserted fully. That is what makes it hard to pull out. It looks as though Tamiya just went a bit overboard with their groove , so that ball bearing gets locked in there pretty deep, making it hard to pull the bit out.

@@JohnBattistini00 Well, maybe it's a good thing it is nice and snug, because it may never wear out. Just make sure nobody is standing to the left of you when you pull the bit out lol.

seems quite expencive for a screwdriver.. 44 Dollers.. thats just way to overpriced.. but looks nice :)

Yeah it is definitely more expensive then I think it should be. At like $25 it would be a total win!
