Respectfully, he should be better if you root with your mind and not your heart. CBJ and Minny are no pushovers, Canadian media just wrote them off. Arizona over Nashville, you can argue that with so much news coming out of AZ, they would be jumping in game 1. Blackhawks over the Oilers, this is such a dangerous matchup because in a short series you have a team full of guys who can win vs. a team of guys who havent. The round robins, tougher to call as different kind of intesity but again especially the Columbus series...they are NO pushover and a tough team on the ice and mentally. Numbers don't matter anymore, especially this year. Older and younger players are affected with the stop and return, everyone is on equal standing here.

The only issue is his attitude. He spends his weekends with his buddies getting fucked up and not working out or practicing. Nothing would be better for him than being in a different city briefly. Being a Canucks fan, I find your sarcasm, anger, and bewilderment cathartic Shannon! (but as a Canucks fan, am I truly surprised at the outcome of this game? Nah.) A few notes on my favorite team: The Canucks are very predictable to play against. Constant cycling of the puck and waiting for the perfect shot. They need to shoot more often and in less predictable ways, sometimes goals happen with weird bounces. Less passing more shooting for all that is holy! Lots of dump and chase the puck, very few dangerous rushes. It seems like we often don't have a player parked in front of the opposing goalie (Burrows was so good at that). Lots of perimeter based shots. Lots of drop passes. All opposing teams know that the above is the Canucks MO and they know how to combat them. As the Canucks strategies continuously fail during the game, Travis Green and the coaching staff fail to adapt and try anything different. Green won't change a thing and then call a timeout when it's way too late to change momentum. For the next game, the players do need to be more disciplined to prevent foolish penalties, they need crisper passing, and they need to generate more chaos around the Wild's net by trying a variety of zone entries and shots. But I am not expecting much of that to happen because the Canucks never change!

Meanwhile, everyone else (not naming any names) is trying, badly, to be Kevin Hart. I love guys like Carlin and Chappelle because there's a story, there's substance, a person behind the jokes. There's life experience, depth. They don't just bitch and moan about things - they provide meaningful context and educate without being preachy - and you're unafraid to be wrong sometimes. You showed in this video exactly why you're the very best at what you do, and I'm not just blowing smoke up your butt. While most other people are blaming the refs (which I've done in the past on occasion) or making other silly excuses, you get on camera, show immense humility and maturity, and tell the painful truth that so many need to hear, even if it's "just a hockey game." If anyone wants to become a sports KZbinr, this video should be required viewing. Thank you for this.

@@myleswaldner8309 our pick goes to new jersey if we beat Minnesota if not then next year's goes instead, Tampa traded it to new jersey. I rather have our first round pick this year because it's a deep draft, next year our younger players should improve and we should be better. Also the 1/8 chance at number 1 overall is actually our highest chance yet at 1st overall.

@@BobBob-et9io are you really dumb? Calling guys thst never been in the playoffs playoff machines..... Also Jake hitting the bars coming into camp out of shape and getting embarrassed in scrimmages didn't help his cause. And throws bitch fits because of it. God, I can imagine sitting beside you watching this game. We would be yelling the same things. My small son was frustrated. I eventually had to walk away and do some jobs, I just shrugged and told him "this is what I expected. Don't get your hopes up, and you won't be disappointed" (keep in mind, I'm a fan since '82)

I’m a Minnesota wild fan but just saying I was expecting going into this series and losing and maybe getting swept which I had no problem with but idk what Vancouver was doing they seemed mad the whole game and got nothing outta of it. Honestly hoping you guys win so we get the chance at the first round pick.

This is the worst thing for the Wild, they’re a team on the downswing that’s needs to rebuild and blow it up. Their window has CLOSED, I never say tank, but the Wild need to rebuild.

mike kostrzewski They are good pieces but the best players (Parise, Suter) are aging. The team needs to get a lot younger to be honest. The Wild aren’t in a position to win now, I just don’t see it that way.

Ha ha, the pain in your voice Shannon. Are you sure you're not a Buffalo Sabre fan? I agree though, if Vancouver let Virtanen and Brock go, and if Markstrom doesn't sign for cheap, and I think it's doubtful you lock him up for less $6.5. In fact six five would be a heck of a good deal. Thinks are looking very challenging for Vancouver in the future, this year is actually their best shot.
