Great video as usual. I love this series, keep it up! On the photo of the Swan, I do appreciate your point about keeping detail in the feathers, but I feel like your edit sacrificed a lot of interesting eye and beak detail. I think it’s really interesting you seem to have chose a completely different focal point than David did. I’d be interested in learning your thought process there.

It’s probably worth saying that the edit I did wasn’t a full edit. It was just to show you how to retain the whites, so I didn’t touch anything about the bird’s beak or eyes. Perhaps I should’ve said that in the video, but if I’d done a full edit it would’ve gone on for another few minutes. Glad you’re enjoying the review series and thank you very much for watching.

When I see the photo of zooming into the woods I don't think it isn't leveled. Seems more to me those two trees are grorwing that way on a bit of an elevating ground. Look on those tress behind as they are straight. :)

I think you have a point there, the background trees are definitely less unlevel than the foreground trees - so they might be on a bit of a slope. But I’ve looked at it again and the background trees are definitely a bit wonky too. It’s not a problem in this case. I think this add something to the picture. Thanks for watching.

Thank you. Good advice and astute observation. Unfortunately I do not have PS or LR, way out of my price range. Keep up the good work, I always look forward to your videos.

Thanks again for taking part John. You can always check out the free software you get from your camera manufacturer. Perhaps not as good as third-party software, but people are often amazed by just how much the free software can do.
