I am currently looking for a low cost scanner. This video is very useful, thank you. Please tell me, is my understanding correct there is a fee to pay for the scanner software after 15 days, that it is not in fact free? Or was I misinformed by a customer feedback page?

There is no fee for the Brother Scan software. That is included with the scanner and doesn’t require any subscription.

what if the start/stop button cannot start the scan process?? the paper was pulled automatically, then I pressed the start/stop button, the indicator light only flashed green, then after 10 seconds the green standby light turned on, the paper was not scanned. if you use the brother iprint&scan application shortcut, the paper can be scanned. software installed completely and according to the installation steps, normal usb cable, normal ds 640 scan. I just bought this a week ago

I find the scanned pictures to come out slightly darker than the photos from my old scanner. Is there a setting to adjust this?

I am working with windows 11. So, must I select windows 10 (64 bit) by the installation? And then it should be working fine on windows 11?. I have seen already that another visitor asked this question and you answered "The same procedure will work for Windows 11".
