I returned this case, I did not like the giant cutout for the camera button. Plus my last 2 OtterBox cases haven’t lasted long. Probably cheaper quality plastic.

If I had to choose between betting my phone’s life on that case with the giant cutout OR the tiny thermal exhaust port on the Death Star, I’m taking the Death Star. Otterbox, you missed a spot. Thank you for the video, it saved me $70.

This is my 4th Otterbox Defender case I have bought over the years and this one is the most light weight and shallow case of them all . I am a clumsy person and have dropped my phones on to concrete a number of times and never had to worry about it surviving.. With this new 'shallow' case with very little camera protection , and half the screen depth protection time will tell.. I will provide feed back.. Other than that it is as 'grippy' as my old one (IPhone XR case)

Looks like there releasing a new version of the case with the camera button protected thats a bit more expensive called “ Defender Series for MagSafe with Camera Control” it should have been out in the beginning

The camera control button is a blunder. Not comfortable to use. I wish Otterbox would just make a defender that covers it so we can forget Apple ever did this... lol

This time, Otterbox made a huge mistake. This design is terrible especially on capture button area. There are other brands that provide buttons on capture area !!

I am returning mine too. Otterbox really F'ed up big time leaving such a huge section of the phone exposed. Very awkward and uncomfortable in the hand. Worst otterbox case ever!

With the Otterbox Defender XT case it is a real pain in the ass because you have to put the phone in upside down in its holder or it will fall out because of the stupid notch to access the new camera button.

Been using this case since 2010 , did away with the holster , Still needed !!! Now they wanna charge 15. For the holster when it was included all these years , and that mag safe design looks HORRIBLE. Bye Bye Otterbox 👋🏻

the cutout for the camera button looks super disgusting and ugly, there is no uniformity on the case anymore! it just doesn't look good. No aesthetic. I would have preferred to just cover the camera button and thats it. Dust and debris will get through the cutout easily.

That cover is ugly, it was damaged with that dent in the camera option. If it falls, it breaks. It has no engineering protection. Where is a high-end cover like the Defender? They should discontinue it and make something better.🙄🙄

Otterboxes nowadays are super cheap and do not protect your phone. Avoid.

My OtterBox for my Pixel 9 is great. Comes with a belt-clip too.
