My father has an locking clamp plier with is made of half metal and half wood. Because of it's age the clamp is hard to use but this one look very efficient and eary to use.

You can find C clamp locking pliers pretty much anywhere there’s all kinds of different sizes there’s mini ones also and the prices aren’t bad on them even the Irwin brand ones aren’t all that much
