Before I bought this I owned and use a Smart Pool Nitro I thought it did a good job, but after breaking down time and again decided to give up on the Nitro. When I received the Dolphin cleaner I was surprised by how heavy it was. But once in the water and it cleans the pool like it was new. This is a great product and I am hoping to have many free years or a good looking pool.

One thing with all Robotic cleaners, your constantly pulling them in and out of the pool, if you have a constant dirty pool due to trees around the garden the robot will stop if the filter gets clogged. While some robots are expensive you will replace a lot of wearing parts, scrubbers, rollers, but if you don’t mind they are good.

Nautilus’s cc plus is top cleaner. Climbing wheel have to be replaced after 6 months. Instruction is insufficient but you tube helps. To be recommended!

The video on the Dolphin Escape says for “above ground only”, you state best for your “in ground’ & the video was obviously shot with it cleaning an in ground pool... confusing...which is it? Thanks

I have a Dolphin pool cleaner. Works very well and uses little power. Downside.....it does not remove floating debris.

Is Amazon the only place that sells the Dolphin Premier of any year? I wish you would offer other places as well to compare prices because for all other Dolphin robots, Amazon charges about $200 to $300 more than some others!

You say Dolphin Premier is only for above ground pool. The video depicts an in-ground pool. I don't get it.

I own the Triton Plus, and I can't stop bragging about how awesome it is - my friend owns the 2017 Premier and while they are both awesome, the PS thrusters on the Triton result in 10x cleaner walls... Also the Premier doesn't have Bluetooth control, so the programming is not as intuitive (also you have to buy a special remote just to be able to RC the Premier) so really there isn't any logic behind buying the Premier when you can buy the Triton Plus for the same price...

Never buy anything that has been on the market for less that 5 years, preferably longer. The "latest and greatest" pool equipment often turns out to be a source of continuous headaches. Everything is rushed to market. Get a seasoned pool tech on site to recommend the best cleaner for YOUR pool. I've had customers dumbfounded at the difference when I switch them over to the right equipment for their pool. (I'm a pool tech since '95.)

I have a Polaris 360 and the cleaner keeps going into one corner. I have had the pool 2 years and I keep going out to move cleaner out of corner. I’ve tried changing direction of water shooter on back of cleaner with no luck. Question to you is there a better cleaner that doesn’t ever get stuck to use with a pressure system or should I try a twister? Let’s be honest cost is not an issue because the pool cost is already expensive so keeping it clean is priceless. Thanks

I have the same issue which is one of the reasons why I am switching to a robotic cleaner. I keep my pool open year round and realized that when it gets cold it reacts to it as well regardless of the pressure. But I have also ran into that issue in the warm months so now just trying to decide on the best cleaner.

Take a look at the Hayward AquaVac 500

I've had a polaris and hayward 500. I wouldn't recommend the hayward. The connector to the control panel is problematic, and the filters are harder to clean vs the polaris. The clean pattern of the hayward doesn't seem to pick up as much either.
