@@Ms.Jasmine so you basically took n as n = 0, 1, 2? why tho?

Sir, I am slightly confused (1:50). Aren't the modulus argument form and polar form the same thing, with Euler's form being the other one (re^iθ)?

For the last question, the answers may be: 2cis(pi/6), 2cis(5pi/6), 2cis(9pi/6)?

yup, and you keep going and going (with increasing integer values of n). usually questions give you a domain/range of pi values though so you'll know when to stop

Can't you simplify the last answer 2cis(9pi/6) and make it 2cis(3pi/2)?
@kovboj5397
@kovboj5397 Жыл бұрын
@@MM-wv4ez Yes and that's probably a good idea, but leaving it as 2cis(9pi/6) makes it clearer to your grader that you're using the 2*pi*n series over and over again.

Bc there can be multiple solutions along the unit circle ie. U can end up at the same spot or still hold a 8i because it occurs at 90 degrees and every 360 degrees after it and in radians 360 is 2pi so the angle this solution can occur at is like 90, 90+360, 90+360(2),...
