The more guitar content I consume, the more I wish I had taken up the piano 😂

To a certain degree the piano would have been easier. The question is: Do you choose the instrument or does the instrument choose you? ;)

Hi Renzo, Sounds like you already know how to play the guitar. What are you working on at the moment?

Interesting! So you basically refer to all "basic"/"beginner" open chords as Cowboy chords? I always thought Cowboy chords would be the same as the "Wonderwall chords" - all chords where the ring and little finger stay locked in position on the B & high E string on the third fret... (As I was told) the story is that these Wonderwall chords are of course not exclusive to the Oasis song but supposedly are heavily used in live played country music - hence "Cowboy" chords.... I have no problem with your definition but I started the video expecting you to show all possible chords of the "B & E string third fret lock in"-family 😄 Maybe an idea for a future video? Edit: Do you know the KZbinr "Country Music Teacher"? 99% of the songs he teaches, he teaches in the "B & E locked in" versions. Super easy and great for beginners.

Interesting that you bring that up! I double-checked and found that most resources refer to all open chords as cowboy chords. That's what I thought, too. Where the term originates seems to be far from clear. The most convincing explanation I found was that these easier-to-play open chords were often used by singing actors playing cowboys. Thanks for the idea with those Wonderwall chords. That's makes actually sense to further explore what else would be possible here. Good chatting with you! Would be nice to know your name if you're open to share it here! :)
