Groves was a brilliant self promoter. And a humble and classy guy too. His first thought when he beat Chudinov was Eduard Gutnechkt. A lot of boxers would have been haunted by those Froch fights but he was at peace with it

You wouldn't get incredible interviews like this today. Too much gangsta and egos in the sport today, not enough substance. These were amazing amateurs who dedicated their lives to the sport. Even next to each other and telling each other they'll knock them out, they treated it in good fashion as sportsmen. I can't be bothered to watched 90% of boxing anymore. Just money and profiles. I don't think Saudi Arabia has fixed this either, though fairplay for trying. 10 years ago feels like a golden age today.
