Revisiting A Hidden iOS/macOS Synthesizer GEM | iceGear Mersenne

In 2017, I reviewed iceGear Mersenne, a Bell Synthesizer based on a combination of physical modeling and FM synthesis. The synth caught my attention instantly, and it remains one of my favorite iOS synthesizers after all these years.

thanks for your input :) I love the bi-nature of Mersenne. It has lovely patches with and without reverb :)

The UI has one flaw: the value rings are too thin. With so many of them, it becomes difficult to discern even roughly what a parameter is set to. It's pretty good sounding otherwise.

@@synthanatomy I like the idea of the UI, but because the parameters are pushed together in the way they are, IMHO it makes it harder to read parameters compared to e.g. Ableton's dials.
