An interesting video for sure. I disagree with a lot, and I mean a lot, of your points, as well as questioning your approach (looking up guides for some maps and not others, the inconsistent methodology makes talking about the maps harder to parse, plus using godmode). However, it was nice to see some different perspectives on zombies from an outside view (I played from BO1 to BO4, so my knowledge of the mode is more in-depth). Overall, I liked the retrospective, and I think your editing is pretty good.

Yeah honestly, using godmode/noclip for easter eggs really disappointed me when watching this retrospective along with DavidOZ's. I feel it all depends on where you were in your life that'll determine which Treyarch game had the better zombies mode. You can say that goes for most games in general. But I was 12 when BO2 was released so everyone in middle school was talking about the zombies mode and was hype for all of the maps. Those times were some of the best times in my life personally. I still remember those long summer nights playing non-stop zombies with all kinds of friends from school. Because of that I hold BO2 to a higher regard than most.

Personally WaW was my first Zombies experience. It was so unreal seeing a Call of Duty game, especially a WW2 one, release with a zombies mode. I'm still impartial to WaW for many reasons, mainly because of familiarity, fond memories, and just appreciating the atmosphere and storytelling in it (even if it was barebones compared to future releases). I remember seeing all the trailers as they came out and being excited for each evolutio0n of the formula. They're not as ambitious or content heavy as future maps, but they're fun for what they are. I also just love the WW2 weapons over other eras.

Train to busan is a good zombie movie. Not set in a tower block but in another enclosed space, a train.
@LordDumbash Жыл бұрын
I know it's 4 years later but here are some great bo2 tips for some of the maps. From a self proclaimed pro at bo2. Tranzit: -if you run with a turbine out you knife faster. You can knife the denizens right before they get on your head and then knife a second time and they usually die. only slow you for a bit. -use the hatch on the roof of diner instead of the bus to get galvaknuckles. The bus roof is dangerous to stay on cuz it knocks you off anyways plus denizens become a 1 knife before they can latch on your head. Avagadro becomes a 3 knife. With tip 1 you'll never be using the bus anyways too. -leave 1 zombie before opening pap, leave the turbine, guide the zombie to the edge of the fog and kill it. Then run towards town. No zombies will spawn in power if you do this and your turbine will stay alive. -if you bring a denizen under a lit lamppost, they make a random tp that helps map traversal -pap m16 and train in the tunnel after you've fully set up. The wall buy is there so easy ammo and it's open. Die Rise -if you have 100% accuracy on jumping jack rounds you can get a free perk. Get galvaknuckles as soon as possible and only knife on those rounds to guarantee you get the perk. -put a trample steam on the window under the dragon stairs then camp that area. All the zombies will be coming from one side while the trample steam kills the ones behind you. Buried -the farther Leroy has to charge at the barriers he can break the more points you get -you can use Leroy to lock the box in one location by giving him candy -deposit all/most of your money in bank before going to witch house. Take your time, learn their spawn pattern and you'll be able to easily get out of the house and lose no points. -only the gates in the maze move so learning the hedge layout is important. I feel like mob and origins don't need as many tips, they're more Easter egg heavy so most of the tips would just be Easter egg steps.

I have to say: you are the first person I've ever heard who liked Tranzit (and by extension, the entire Green Run area concept) on it's own, separate from the potential it had. Tranzit provided the biggest scare of my life when I first played the zombies mode in Black Ops II. I just cant believe you never built the orgins staff or attempted the easter egg, which imo really makes origins stand out and der eisendrache bows , you really need to revisit these maps and give them a try with the wonder weapons.

Excellent video. As someone who thought that the COD franchise was out of ideas,i it's nice to be shown something being worked on by people with so much passion.

As someone who’s played almost every iteration of zombies (except vanguard and exo zombies) I have some disagreements with this video but it was very interesting to see the perspective of someone outside the zombies community comment on it, this had monumental effort put in and for that I appreciate it. However, research and knowledge on what you’re commenting on is incredibly important and you’ve missed a lot but as someone who isn’t balls deep into zombies probably doesn’t know how useful said items are. (Moon hacker, hells retriever/redeemer, calling phd flopper a shit perk without having used it) all in all good video but needs some extra talking points and research.

this is a very well made video and you can tell he put a lot of effort into it, but man you missed the majority of the content. From bo2 (especially blundell maps which are origins and mob), the focus shifts from hit the box and survive, to easter egg quests which can help you survive even more. You say origins felt weak because you pretty much played it like you would play kino. Same with zetsubo, you say it felt barebones because you just unlocked pap. Not doing the easter egg once in zombies is like only stealing cars and driving around the map in gta without doing the missions. That's why pretty much most of your opinions are the exact opposite of the majority of the community, since you're only scratching the surface. Also, the lockdown sequence in gorod is so easy, just get a gun, upgrade it and go to the room on the left of where you spawn, leave the max ammo for when you run out of bullets.

I never really had any issues with the dragon strike waves It may be a bit of a surprise the first time around and may catch you offguard but i think it adds replayability The challenge is something I anticipate and prepare for The biggest issue with it is the ammo distribusion Just get yourself a gun with a lot of ammo and double tap Use the shield's attack when you're cornered Even if it doesnt have any remaining ammo Go to each of the windows as they open and pay attention to where the zombies are coming from and dont let them even get passed the barricade Dont use the max ammo at the pack a punch until the final wave And you're good It is a test of endurance but a welcome one to me with a good reward

Gonna try to not flame you because my god have you already been roasted by this comment section so I’ll try to be nice about this. I think your issues with maps like origins and others is a bit petty. The panzer on origins is not that difficult. He is actually my favourite boss in the game because he pushes you to be ready for him. You cannot slack off on origins because once’s that round 7 comes along oh boy you will be beaten relentlessly. I’ve played the map probably hundreds of times with and without friends and by far the best strat is to run around no man’s land training the zombies and grenading him or shooting the hoard eventually he goes down. Your complaints with the wonderfizz are a bit petty as well because if you know the game, (which by the sounds of your opinions in the video and your admission) you don’t. You will know what perk you got by looking at the bottle and can decide if you want it or not. I’m not sure I understand your hatred of perks like electric cherry and phd flopper because cherry will save your life when reloading anything especially LMGs and phd will save your live if you have any splash damage gun. Examples being; ray gun, packed m1911, rpg, grenades etc. dead shot sucks I’ll admit especially on pc it’s almost useless. Which is why if you get it in the wonderfizz you don’t pick it up. Your complaints on origins are a bit odd because as you said, you didn’t even bother touching the staffs. Arguably the best part of the map. Your criteria for each map was good but I would have added atleast attempting the Easter egg for each map. Some are harder then others it took me nearly 2 weeks to get origins down pat but I loved each attempt. As for buried your complaints related to the banking system and the witches are also odd. I’ll admit the witches are annoying and the banking system can break the game. BUT you can break any game and take the fun out of it. Whether it’s exiting the map walls and progressing to where you wish to be or using god mode glitches. These things in games can break it and ruin the fun. But the thing about it is you choose whether to use them or not. Sure the banking system isn’t a glitch and was intended to be in the game but so was dead shot and (in your case) PHD but that doesn’t mean you HAVE to use them. The witches are a fun mechanic and are not difficult to kill especially with any shotgun, ray gun, or sniper. Once your thru the mansion you get a free perk which is a great reward. And as for the maze, cmon man. It’s a maze, your 25, my 6 year old nephew can do them. So can you. And running into a dead end isn’t a death sentence. You simply use nades, monkeys, or whatever gun you have (if you have the map exclusive you can jump over the walls) and once you are through the maze you can camp at the pack a punch and save up again to be able to pack a punch. It’s a great camping spot almost as good as jug and even better then jug if you have 2 people. Which I know you didn’t but still. Over all it’s a good video but I think you should have seen how little experience you have with all these maps and games and known that you shouldn’t review it as your not in a place to review it. The staffs alone tell me that
