True! Still can’t over the mess with Chris Brown when they both put hands on each other and what a time to be alive when she was dating Drake like I always thought she was the messy one for real, you cannot be with all the celebrities around and still keep going like at some point I believe you have to choose a private life or stick with one and maybe she did as we’ve seen now

I’ve always admired Teyana for her unique point of view and creativity. She has always had her own style, which has allowed her to have organic longevity in her career. Rihanna’s “mean girl” era wasn’t an era, it was her actual personality that she has toned down and eventually changed due to becoming more humble. I admire her effort to change and be a better person.
@Romy2112

I don’t think Rihannas personality has changed. She simply doesn’t show it anymore because it would stain her image and she needs a clean one to make money with her businesses 🤑🤑🤑
@ElevatedEndeavors
@ElevatedEndeavors 2 жыл бұрын
@@Romy2112 I agree with you. I think it’s a nuanced approach that has many layers to it. Her persona of ‘Rihanna’ - the girl from humble beginnings is story arch of redemption that has been curated from the start. Her true personality has come through at times, but ultimately was not conducive to long term success through relatability. I appreciate that she changed directions because it takes discipline to manage your public image.

I had a love/hate relationship with Rihanna at this time, and was such of fan of Teyana’s style since Sweet 16. I wanted her shoe so bad and actually met her at the pop-up launch event. She was so cool. I was sad when she got dropped, I understood why, but I was mad that Rihanna had started it. Rihanna was always shading someone in those days, but she tried it with Teyana, and Teyana was NOT playing. I’m glad that they were able to make-up. I’m also glad that Teyana has continued to amass success in different areas. Sn: a fan edited the pic that Teyana used.

I think Rihanna had internalized a lot of misogyny and gender based V against women since she had experienced all this with her father and CB, and she took it out on her fellow women, especially those that remained close to CB (teyana) or had worked with him (ciara) after what he did to her. She felt the need to hurt these women unprovoked. Such a weird meanie I hope she’s truly outgrown that behavior but I highly doubt it, she has remained problematic by endorsing Rachel Dolezal, Shaun King and that weird slave movie to name afew. She’s just more quiet these days because she owns a company but I doubt that Rihanna has truly changed.

And mind you this was before me too, times up and cancel culture made celebrities be careful who they associate themselves with, it’s that thing among women where it’s like “well if you didn’t do anything to me then he’s still cool with me” and “he can’t hate or be abusive to women he was nice and friendly with me”

Also after Chris and Rih broke up (2013) Rihanna quotes Joseline Hernandez about how she would never work with Chris and had her vocals removed from a song called Counterfeit. How has she stopped lol. Its just that now shes not putting out music cuz shes made enough money to not have to worry about other girls taking her spot and so she doesnt need to be a bitch to them.

I remember this time and I didn’t like Rihanna when she did this, just coming for people everywhere and it seemed like she was very hurt and insecure and reacted to things. Wasn’t this when she was going back and forth with CB and sprinkling Drake in there too? There is a difference between being a bully and standing up for yourself. I’m so glad she’s not this way anymore.

Funny how Riri has a problem with everyone pretty woman that had a working relationship with CB. Ciara said when she danced with CB on the BET awards Riri stopped talking to her and being mean. Then, the whole Tianna thing. In the song Birthday, she said "sweeter than a rice cake". Karrechee is Asian. She posted a pic of a rice cake with big earring on. 🤣🤣
