How much people enjoy opening a particular set really drives Pokemon value on OOP sets. Vivid voltage and darkness ablaze suck to open, so price is stale. Neither set has a real chase either. This was right before the alternate arts.

How do you have the ability to purchase such quantities of boxes? Do you have connections with distributors? Is there somewhere online to purchase all of this? How can I as an individual with no connections buy cases for a good price in high quantities?

If your in the US safari zone is goated and if you shop around can normally get cases for 570$ and under. I was able to pre order surging sparks for 545$ a case and if I would of bought 4 cases I could of got them for 89$ a box on rip n ship. Right now on safari zone you can get paradox rift for 91$ a box if you buy four cases.

Don't forget... yeah Sword and Shield had the unprecedented hype because of Covid but XY had the Pokemon Go hype. I got back into collecting and investing during Pokemon Go and lots of other people did as well. I think huge poketubers like Unlisted leaf were getting enormous around that time as well and XY was all the rage. I went heavy into Flashfire because of Pokemon Go and that worked out very well.
