Apparently the whole thing where Ruby accused her 12 year old son of sexual abuse might have been something spurred on by Jodi - or so Jodi’s niece believes. Jodi’s niece was abused in a VERY similar way by Jodi, and Jodi went on to tell everyone they knew that her niece was an angry teenager and a sex addict, so the niece’s accusations against Jodi weren’t taken very seriously because Jodi had already poisoned the well against them so much. But this was a very familiar tactic to them already. I think Jodi’s manipulation ran deep, but even so, Ruby isn’t blameless. I hope they both rot.

Abby is older than Julie by 2 years Chad wasn’t 12 when he was sent away to that wilderness camp, he was around 14-15 years old. Abby and Julie were not at Jodi’s house when they were found, they were with Ruby’s friends m cleaning their house (and that’s where they would go most of the time) Eve & Russell werent playing with Ruby’s nail polish, it was just Eve who made the mess then hid and she apologized. She was only given chores to do because Ruby said that’s what she can do to help pay for a new rug she messed up. She was sent to bed early, didn’t get dessert that day, didn’t play a family game and she didn’t have her nails painted for a month (that’s a lot of consequences lol) Jodi wasn’t a porn addict therapist, one of Jodi’s manipulation tactics was that she convinced ppl (mainly men and boys) that they were addicted to porn and basically everything under the sun which is why she said ppl were living “in distortion” bc everyone was addicted to something. Ruby’s parents weren’t abusive, Jodi’s parents were. Ruby acted like a third parent because she was the oldest and she pretty much bossed her younger siblings around. Ruby & her mom were close growing up.

@hailey Elizabeth I believe several of the facts you present in this case are incorrect. Only the youngest boy (Russell) and girl (eve) were at Jodie Hildebrant’s house. The middle girls were at Pam Botchner (also worked at Connexion) house. I also believe Chad was older than 12. You might have been thinking about Russell who was 12 at the time of the events in this case.

She fractured her femur a few months ago when a shopping cart fell with her and her twin sister in it (very brave and all better now!) Even though it was a crazy accident, the nurses were required to have CPS visit the house and make sure my cousins were safe. Why that didn't happen in the Frankes' case is beyond me

The two middle girls are actually over the age of 12, they're teens. They were actually found at a different location with someone who had worked for Jodie. Sherri had the two middle girls but I believe they are not with her now. She and her two sisters (and I think a social worker as well) had gone to the house to grab some things for the two girls. Their dad wanted to press charges against Sherri, his own daughter, for stealing and damages. Through the police Sherri gave her dad back the items that he wanted. There were no damages caused by Sherri, but the house apparently had some water issues. And their dad hadn't been in the house for over a year. But he still wanted to press charges against Sherri.

The one thing I find so annoying about Chad getting sent off is that they refused to say why he was sent off, they show everything about their kids but suddenly they wanna keep this one thing a secret? He prob did nothing and they just wanted him out of their hair for a few months. Also the fact that the husband isn't also being charged with abuse/neglect is so annoying b/c at the very least he let her abuse their kids and he abandoned them with their abusive mother. " insert police body cam footage " * doesn't. *

I heard a theory that Jodi Hildebrandt is actually a predatory lesbian who hates men, which is why she would brain wash her clients into separating from their husbands, and also some have said they believe Ruby Franke is a severely repressed lesbian and the reason for being abusive to her children was a unconscious way of lashing out at the fact that she felt forced to repress who she really is sexually and live as a "traditional" family woman, and to be honest I could definitely see that being the case especially with Jodi because of how she treated her niece who now is an open lesbian and was in her custody as a teenager and was severely abused during that time including slut shaming which I think was Jodi punishing her for what she hated about herself.

I totally agree with this assessment of Jodi. I'm not so sure about Ruby I think she's a classic narcissist but who knows
@Velvettyy_10 ай бұрын
In Jodi’s book, she said that she was repeatedly sexually assaulted by a 15 year old boy (when she was ages 3-5 years old) and she buried all of her trauma inside because her parents were emotionally unavailable and basically told her and her siblings to “get on with it.” So I believe that’s probably why she dislikes men/boys too and that’s probably why she victim blames people from rape & sexual assault, because she probably thought it was her fault for being molested as a 3 year old and that’s probably why she always says that boys & men are addicted to porn. I also believe that Jodi & Ruby are closeted lesbians too- the chemistry they had was just too strong when you see pictures and videos of them together. It leaves me to believe that Jodi’s beliefs and teachings were just all of her insecurities and her self projection she was passing onto her clients.

This is a terrible, complex, and very important case--very important in terms of childrrn's rights, the structure of a healthy family/childhood, the right to privacy and the need for genuine mirroring without a screen or audience. Thanks for your time and coverage of this, great video.

Abuse is generational. There are many sad micro-stories within this one large one. My heart is with all of the people out there trying to be better. ❤ PS: i feel so stupid bc i never THOUGHT enough about the fact that a plea agreements means the full truth does not come out in criminal cases. Learn and realize and process new things everyday!!! PSS: I hope Sheri is able to find a safe place for her and her siblings, as she is also so young to have to pick up after abusive parents, just like her mother did. Sorry so long a post ive been super passionate about family vlogs and child abuse for YEARS after what i went through myself. I just wanna contribute to conversations about this subject in a meaningful way.
@sydneypeck248810 ай бұрын
Honestly, the full truth usually doesn't come out in trials anyways. Before the trial starts, both the prosecution and defense try to submit the evidence that is favorable to their case while preventing the evidence that isn't favorable to their case from being submitted. So, ultimately both of them get some wins and prevent the other from presenting some of the evidence. That being said, the public does get a lot more information from trials than they have without one.

Man, I hate family influencers or any influencers that have kids as part of their brand. Influencers come into my place of work, I remember this one family whose dad kept nagging his young son because he didn't like how he was turning out in pictures, complaining if he moved or blinked and having to retake them. Kids shouldn't have that kind of preassure.

I think maybe Chad actually could have appreciated the wilderness camp compared to the abuse he got at home. My mom used to threaten me with all kinds of horrors she was going to send me to, and often they sounded a hell of a lot better than what I was dealing with at home. One time I BEGGED her to PLEASE send me off to whatever program she had in mind because I knew nothing organized could be a sadistic as what she did to me. She never threatened me with that stuff again. She knew I figured her out.

It’s never right to send children to those places no matter their age but come on, no 12 year old should be behaving like an adult yet!! I feel need to note here (I'm 5 mins in) that not only did Ruby tell her young daughter about a family friend passing away, but she told her daughter that it was Self-Inflicted death (she used the actual word) and then proceeded to ask her daughter if she new what that meant and fake cried in front of her as she explained to her YOUNG CHILD what taking your own life is. Like a child that old has no concept of not wanting to exist anymore like some adults experience, so it's incredibly gross to purposefully break that perception of reality just for content. Sick. Disgusting.
