Thank you for showcasing the game flow! Never managed to get into TES Legends since the whole attack-defense thing never clicked with me: it's a pleasure to see the pieces work in the hands of someone else familiar. I think the only game where that clicked was *Astral Tournament* (and it sequel *Astral Masters*), but it's a pre-deckbuilder.

What a throwback! I played this game back in 2018 and checking back I have 268 hours logged in from steam. It's awesome to see you were interested in similar card games other than gwent!

Seems fun might give it a try. How's the learning curve for a Gwent player?

It's not too hard to learn. The mechanics are very similar to Hearthstone other than the board being split into 2 lanes which typically can't interact with each other and the runes. Those are the five blue dots around the hero pictures that trigger when you get to 25/20/15/10/5 health for the first time. They draw you a card as a comeback feature if you're losing if the card drawn has the Prophecy keyword you can immediately play it for free. The most difficult thing to learn is when to go face vs play for control vs wait since you can be punished for going face with the Prophecy mechanic. Like Gwent though the developers stopped officially supporting it, for TESL I believe it was at the end of 2019. There's still a solid playerbase and the game is fun if you want to try it out though.

Pkayed this quite a lot a couple of years ago after I got into CCGs. Really enjoyed it! I'm trying to get back into it but for some reason I'm not able to launch it on my laptop, it just gets stuck on the loading screen. Anyone have any idea how to resolve this? I've searched online and tried re installation but nothing works.

Did you use the Bethesda Launcher? I think they shut that down and you need to use Steam.

I had a similar issue - I cannot launch TESL direct on laptop but if I launch it through Steam it loads fine. Good luck!

Yeah, they shut down the TESL direct launcher from the Bethesda one a couple years ago. @@Denise-ki9ii
