Revisiting The PS1 - What made it So Memorable?

Let's sit down and talk about why the PlayStation 1 was such a special console. Things I cover in this video are the ps1's graphics, sound design, music, atmosphere, etc. We go over why I think the ps1 was special to many people, and why I think it was such a memorable console, with many memorable games. I also added in my theories as to why I think ps1 games have a scary and creepy vibe to them.

The PS1 was my first gaming console and while most of my childhood happened during the era of the PS2 I played PS1 games more. I did get a PS2 a couple of years later but most of the home console gaming I did during those years of my life was on the PS1.

No but now I want to. It would be fun to replay some of the games I enjoyed playing and perhaps even find some other games I haven't played. @@HA-Z1

Hopefully, you don't tarnish any memories you had with any games haha, some I went back to and thought, "wtf is this? I liked this??" But others are still great. Also, playing new ones is good because you know you're not blinded by nostalgia when playing
