Revisiting Tony IOMMI's only solo album - Heavy Talk #2

Here Im revisiting Tony Iommi's only solo album released in 2000. this album has great Black Sabbath like guitar riffs and gathered a great vocalists from the 80's and 90's as guests. Phil Anselmo , Serj Tankian , Billy Corgan , Billy Idol , Ian Atsbury , Peter Steele , David Grohl, , Ozzy Osbourn ,...and others plus Bill Ward and Brian May as guests.

Technically you could classify The Dep Sessions and Fused as Tony Iommi solo albums. Colaborating with a single artist, but otherwise solo. Also, these were writing colaborations, not just performance. To say that another artist would have fit the song better is to insult the songwriter. It might not be your thing but the song definitely fits them as they wrote the bloody thing. The only thing Tony is the riffs and solos.

Even Seventh Star could be classified as a solo album. But I would consider Dep/Fused as Iommi/Hughes albums, like Page/Plant for example . Anyway both logics work. Its not an insult. i have written several songs that I didn't perform. Song writing is one thing, and performing is another. In the end, im giving my own opinion about the song, so we can disagree.
