I've used Revit for 15 years. It's proven very quick to do an average 2d drawing but takes a long time to do a beautiful 2d drawing. (For example, the line weights here have no legible hierarchy) I would like to see a tutorial explaining how to make a Revit section as clear and legible as a classic Autocad section - Autocad is alway still responsible the best looking sections I've seen.

Use ArchiCAD and you will never open AutoCad again, I think Autodesk does not give fully drafting capabilities to Revit because it would kill AutoCAD. But ArchiCAD's worksheets are working as AutoCAD and in my opinion it is even better
@AlekseiSljusarev3 жыл бұрын
@@furkanturan7492 Revit + AutoCAD together are not capable to beat ArchiCAD in worksheets, layouts and publishing. Revit has many useful functions, but in every function there is a trap, waiting for you.

Just wondering where the best source is for downlaoding wall types or wall add ins for REVIT, I will be willing to pay for great sources
@ManandMachineCAD2 жыл бұрын
Hi Trevor, there are some resources that will give you wall types downloads but typically these system families in Revit will need to be transferred with a project file rather than a Revit Family which isn’t ideal. It is very quick and straight forward to make realistic wall types using the System Family Editor, so unless you are looking to create a very specific pre-fabricated wall (check the NBS Library for Manufacturer specific options), I would recommend you stick with editing them yourself.
