(Quarantine Day 99) Previously we did a parametric perforated panel using curtain wall. This time, we are going to model it as a generic model. Also, we are going to hide those join lines.

Although we can do this, I do not recommend you using this in your project. Material with proper pattern and cutout setting should be enough for both documentation and renderings.

It is not working for me; I have been trying to do this for the last two hours.

how can i apply this to curved circular wall?
@BINHE6153 жыл бұрын
I would just use material and surface pattern...

@@alihajeer9276 I suggest: 1. only use a solid wall with some surface pattern. If you need to do render, find the proper perforated metal material from the material library. 2, if you do need to cut the holes and show the details, I would suggest you use the curtain wall method. This way, you can quite easily create a curved wall without those perforated panels (switch off the mullions). I talked about this in Video Day 318, you can also download this family here: drive.google.com/file/d/1z0wuJFjtRYmgOuqYGfP6Vk5peOLzJaeR/view?usp=sharing I think you can replace the pattern of the panel yourself quite easily. Let me know if you still have questions.
