I was just thinking about the solar study also few days ago but in the perspective sections, could be there any way to do the same as the floor plan ? Thanks for the tip Jeff, it works nicely but there is a problem that maybe you know how to solve it, once you have the view set, wall sections pattern are not shown. Is there any way to modify the view settings using this 3d view style, looks like it is not possible to apply overrides? Thanks in advance!

Did you run into any issues with certain walls not showing up in the "cut"? I have a multi-story building that I tried using this technique and the ortho plan that is created using the camera ends up not showing all my walls on this level. It seems to not show the walls that extend up (above) the level for which I dropped the camera, thoughts?! Similarly, if I wanted to poche the walls/columns, they will not show poche if the object goes above the level.
