Would you know if you would be able to use the 3200 and 1900 in bridge mode together after updating to openwrt?

Yes, of course. And there are countless guides on the web on various configurations.

I have a WRT3200ACM as main with a WRT1900AC and WRT1900ACS as secondary routers all on the same subnet

Now you should make a video, how to get rid of Openwrt and get back to OEM firmware! It was such a bad decizion to install openwrt, because i have problems with the 2.4Ghz network, devices won't stay connected, and the speed is awful 1-3 Mb, compared to the stock firmware of 56-60 Mb! I wasted a entire day trying to solve the problem with no luck

I am sorry that this happened to you. Did you try to restore the firmware and it bricked the device? I will make a video soon and cover how to return to the default firmware.

@@SamBondor well, it's not that easy to revert back to original firmware.i haven't bricked yet.Openwrt is installing on the second partition, and it will boot from there. The fact that you need to use Putty, or other software to get inside the router and clear that partition, running commands is not that easy for most of the people, especially if you are using macOS. 2.4Gz is unusable, something is wrong, i cannot connect. I have tried in the past dd-wrt, but is unstable keeps disconnecting! I was hoping this solution will rivive my wrt3200acm, but it seems i'm out of luck! I waiting for you new video! Thanks! Cheers!

@@jessgone Could you connect to the 2.4GHz network before moving to OpenWRT?
@jessgone3 ай бұрын
@@SamBondor yes, on the official firmware! And the speed was between 30 and 60 Mb/s.

@@jessgone What sort of encryption did you use for the 2.4GHz network? Was it a mix with WPA3? If yes, go with WPA2. Some other stuff to try before reverting to the official firmware would be to check for the channels that are used by your neighbors (use any WiFi analyzer app, most are free) and maybe try out different versions of the OpenWRT, like older ones?
