I was about to get PPF but my Revivify detailer told me to get 2 layers of base coat and 2 layers of Ultra Pro for the same effect. However if a layer is up to 10 micrometers thick and PPF is 8000 micrometers thick, how can they compare?

XPEL PPF is 165-225 microns thick, why are you using micrometers? Revivify is 10 microns.

I'm seriously on the fence about this product. I'd like to try it but there is literally no social proof in the wild. Just these videos and some installer marketing.

@@M.D.MobileDetailing Have you ever heard of Glare? Its been around 10 or so years. I have seen no real vids, no reviews, nothing other than cheap basic marketing, yet ive been told it works, and a few pro shops using it. Its not a coating.
