The seed pods at the end are like putting on mascara. The perfect finishing touch. I just love watching it all come together.😊

Ah, the seventies. I was born in 1976. We had deep rust colored carpet, avocado green washer and dryer and harvest gold kitchen appliances. The wallpaper in the dining room was orange, white, gold and green floral. I love some seventies chic throwback accessories. Interesting how you can use flowers to complement different aesthetics. Another fun video.

Yes they are dust collectors. BUT dried flowers are so beautiful during the winter months and I think they are arranged perfectly for the flowers used. Orange is not my favourite colour but remember she’s designing a 70’s and orange was very commonly used in the 70s. I remember watching my Mom doing dried arrangements of which she sold MANY! Love the video😊

Hi, I saw a skull with antlers on one of your walls recently, and wondered why it didn't have dried flowers. Anyway, love the love and the joy of your work. Watching from Australia. JR

Love it, definitely love the brown touches at the end! Reminds me of our family room back in the 70’s, very “earthy “

I highly recommend experimenting with the dried stuff. Some of my favorite dried flowers are just things I've let die in vases, lol. The classics are beautiful, but there are lots of fun experiments to be had

The 70's. Looking into my closet I see paisley. Dark Greens and Dark Blues borders with reds, yellows, oranges inside. then gold rimmed glasess. Don't forget the fringe on vests, dresses, and shirts. I had the coolest floppy hat and fringed sleeves on a brushed leather jacket. Gold rimmed glasses. Everything was GOOVEY!

So beautiful love the station wagon Brady bunch vibe. Try drying your sun flowers and rubeckia right side up not upside down that way the centers show more and petals fall down around the center.

For dried sunflowers I have heard people lop the heads off and dry them in a bin in silica. Then they use a stick in arrangements. I haven’t tried this yet but
@solsticesummer98210 ай бұрын
Would it ever be appropriate to “ bunch” color in dried flower arrangement? Like when you plant little mounds of tulips together in color clumps to increase the punch? Just because when flowers dry they shrink so much that you dont seem to see that much detail of each individual flower anyway.
@heyy1310 ай бұрын
This particular arrangement isn't really to my taste, but 70s isn't my aesthetic. I think they're visually interesting however! Thank you for the video. It's great to get to see you be creative. :) Also, with it!

You should dip the flowers in some kind of preservative so they dont break so easy and last a long time

I dont think dried flowers is good for bouquets its works better for decorative pieces and flor floor vases
@jucjuc31410 ай бұрын
I feel that too. Because the individual flowers don't have a nice impact anymore, the impact would come from the color not the shape, so any design with a bigger amount of the same color forming a shape at the end, would give a better result.
