I just want to go ahead and point out the obvious. The same reason they can't find the tags on these larger fish, is the same reason that the White Seabass isn't around our area in California anymore, and it's the same reason why Fish and Game make dumb decisions. It's because fish don't stay in one spot forever, they move around, like any other herd of animal do. When the activity in California got so great that the fish had more pressure on them, they started moving out and they haven't returned. Likewise, when these smaller seabass start figuring out what the other wild seabass are doing, they do the same thing and move out. I can't believe how naive these very intelligent people are, so much so that they can't figure out the obvious.

It's a shame you have. to pay a tax to go fishing and we all know how well California manages the state's tax revenue.
