Reviving an Abandoned Service Bed to Build the Ultimate Squarebody Work Truck - LS C20 Build Part 3!

This time on Sally's Speed Shop we tear into the service bed our C20 project to get it ready for HOT ROD Power Tour and have a little fun in the process! Cleaning off 40 years of dirt and grime was a ton of work, but the result is well worth it!

The service bed is so cool. Turned out great too. I’m also not a painter, not even a little bit, but I’m planning on painting my Indy Fiero project myself when the time comes. I think you did a great job on the bed!

I should try to get Mark to come help me work on my truck . I'm north of Indianapolis so it would be closer for him than going to Georgia .. lol my schedule would make it difficult though if I had the time I'd be happy to help him with is truck . Great video Jacob 👍

@@SallysSpeedShop yeah he has his further apart than mine , since my dodge ram broke down I started working on my old square body because I pretty much have everything I need to get it going but just don't have the time to work on it and have been riding my son's motorcycle, till now I just baught a mini van to drive till I get my truck going and my oldest daughter decided she will get it after she gets her driver's license .. lol but she wants a jeep Wrangler.. lol

I know that service body I got it an the truck it was on a trade did an then traded it to a friend for a ford c750 cabover fire truck I didn't know what he did with it I'm glad got to use it

You should've bought a disposable paint suit, respirator would have been better for your lungs. You need to be careful with some paint hardeners, because some contain isocyanate (cyanide).

Fun stuff...I work for a company that builds service truck bodies...no not yours😄 and I run the paint dept on 2nd shift. So I literally do that every day

Would have taken me two hours to sandblast the whole thing really really clean and much better surface for the paint to get stuck on 😅
