Hey Mr. Taylor. i commented on one of your videos a while back and told how your videos helped me become a better welder. I just wanted to thank you again because I'm now welding with the 3rd year students as a first year at my highschool thanks to your videos. Much love

The problems here are many, but if you're happy with it that's all that really matters, you saw, your chain. I watched this (it was hard to. lol) to see if it was reasonably possible in an emergency to use a grinder, I'd say so, basically mimics how it's done in a shop using the high production equipment. (Under far more controlled conditions) If I was standing there with you I'd recommend the file. A little practice and a good quality file, a guy could do that little saw in about 5 minutes. Of course the condition of the chain will vary the time some. I don't comment much, but want to say you got great channels, I watch the wielding/economics channels all the time, thanks for the content and the stuff I learn all the time. 👍🏻

Good idea if you’re in a jam! I would use that method if needed. Can’t always do stuff by the book , at times you just need to get it done. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍

One thing I found very handy is that if there is dirt on the log the saw will not dull much if the dirt is on the exit side of the cut. If you look at the end of a log and there is dirt dragged through the log, you can be pretty sure that your saw needs sharpening. I liked the video and would do the same in a bind. Thanks.

Grind the depth guides slightly lower as well. They sit just before the cutting tips. The log might be riding on them as well. Really enjoy your videos!

What's the difference between using this angle grinder and a chain saw sharpening grinder? They're both grinders, just configured differently. Don't see a problem with this myself. I'm surely gonna try it.

That’s a great hack. The guard on angle grinders should be banned, it’s always in the stupid way 😂 Gonna try that tomorrow on my chain saw, I was about to buy another chain for it. Thanks Chris!
