Its your exhaust pipe ! The area of a circle with a diameter of 4 inches is 12.566 square inches vs a Ellipse w. Major diameter of 4 in and Minor diameter of 2.5 in got an area of Area 7.85 square inches ... point is : you got to run a Minor diameter 6.25 oval exhaust pipe to have the same flow as a 4" round pipe !

Even then he will lose a lot of velocity due to fluid drag because there's so much more wall for the same cross sectional area. It's the same effect as making a pipe super long.

Watching this crash was devastating. The whole evergreen crowd was rooting for you, you were definitely crowd favorite that year. You generally can't time aftermarket cams to the factory marks. There will be a cam sheet with the timing specs that come with the cams and they have to be set or checked with a degree wheel and a dti on the valve.

I think the switch back to the stock intake manifold is a big part of why it’s making more down low but rolling over so hard. Also even though the ge cams are the same duration the fact that they are opening and closing the valves a few degrees earlier could make a difference. Just some things to consider.

they can be installed on either side. the bleeder can be moved to the top or bottom of the caliper. i think they put it on the bottom by choice likely to protect the cross over line.

Not only Can Cams be for turbos but the difference between cams of Autos versus manuals is big difference Most people don't put that into account because of the torque is different on a auto versus a manual that was something we learned a long time ago with the V8s but gets forgotten about a lot unless you do a manual swap sometimes you'll think about it because the computer will act weird without it

I got distracted right at the end. What was the reason it made it's power so early? I have gotten many things mismarked maybe the cams are as well. Might be worth checking with a degree wheel and a indicator or sending to someone with a cam doctor or maybe you could compair to another batch of cams with like a cmm machine or a 3 d scanner. Many ways to check your sanity. Happy to see a og car coming back
