Evening sir..... you got the weather man job on the fly? An awful lot of fancy shirts as of late.... as long as its not sandals and white socks on underneath 😅😊... That disc harrows fair make the fergie grunt... stay safe 🏴

Made a great job of that. The Timothy will need a lot of topping. It will probably take over the hole field. 2725 is class.

I’d reckon that multi species will do well for ye. Was at a discussion group recently and farmer there said that last year & this year in the drought conditions, multi species was growing best of all!

Good sound with the load on the tractor. Even if you can get silage off it will be good pasture for grazing so can cut more else where
@stephenmeehan9961 Жыл бұрын
Every farm needs a Rory. It's taken some pressure off yous to have him available and he is willing to tackle anything. Great to see all the non add blue tractors working away and no worries about the DPF giving problems and going into limp mode..

Interesting what you call the horseflies, it is almost exactly the same as what they are called in Denmark (spelled "klæg") but pronounced more or less as you did. Maybe the Vikings also hated the little bloodsucking critters, when they swung by Ireland a millenia ago 🙂

Great video, did well to reclaim that land, the older tractors are not afraid of hard work, neither is Rory… might have to keep him, confiscate his passport. Keep up the good work.
@Bvdzannimal16 Жыл бұрын
Do you use a significant amount of the stones you pick? I can imagine you use them on paths, not quite as useful as broken rock I guess. We work with basicly stone free ground so I don't really know the uses of the stuff.

Just an observation but I can never understand throwing forkfuls of stone’s into hedges and probably paying 100-200 euros a load for filling for jobs like your machinery yard. I know it makes extra work but I think every farm should have a pill of topsoil,subsoil and stone to add to and take from as they become available or are needed.
@kieranosullivan02 Жыл бұрын
some lads do some don't. All comes down to rushing to reseed in my opinion, get the stones out then they're harder to pick out later so don't even bother. Silly really 🙄
