Hi Julissa! I picked this up from Ulta a few days ago and used it to style my hair this week. It definitely has a learning curve and takes a while honestly! I found it worked super well for heatless curls as that helped my hair not get so frizzy. I am also a curly girly as well :). So many new 2 in 1 products for styling, it reminds me of when the instyler came out and was advertised on tv! I really appreciate your refreshing honesty and videos that you post about these new styling tools :). Thank you for doing this review Julissa. Out of all the 2-in-1 drying stylers the Dyson Airstrait was by far the winner for your hair type. I really would like to try this tool as currently we only have the GHD Duet Styler and that one is too expensive 😄. I can't wait for your comparison videos.

I think your hair looked better with the Dyson Airstrait. The Revlon took too long and with the brush and the hotplates it is definitely more damaging.

I've never been into hair videos because i have curly, frizzy and dry hair. But over the past month I discovered your videos and now Im addicted because Im excited that I can make my hair look like Ive always wanted. The conair knot dr brush thing worked amazing! Ive also learned that I need to use product and which ones to use and it made all the difference. Ive got that damned wella $100 stuff in my Ulta on line cart now lol. I still haven't used my airstrait from dyson but tomorrow is the day I try it.

Girl, you said it took you an hour to just dry your hair before styling! That is insane!! I can get a straight look in 40 mins with blow dryer and flat iron and my hair is your length. Thanks for trying the tool for us so WE KNOW. I'm leaning towards the Dyson Airstrait but that price....mmmmm, maybe it will go on sale during Black Friday 🤞🏽🤞🏽

I purchased this to see how these types of tools work and to decide if I want to pay $499 for the Dyson. My hair doesn't take much heat with a styling tool to dry. I was impressed with the temperature of the heat which I think will be enough to get my hair dry. We'll see.

I noticed in your video for the Dyson, you didn't use the boost setting. Manes By Mell has a video that details the instructions and I definitely think you should watch it. I know that Dyson spent 9 years developing the Airstrait, and it seems like Revlon just made up their own as soon as Dyson's hit the market. I would definitely like to try this, if anything to dry my hair smoother before flat ironing to get better results. This also might be good for touch ups after the shower.

Hi Julissa, thank you for this review I was waiting patiently on this one. I was really hopeful it would be a little better, but wondering if it would have different results on different hair? Hy Julissa. I like the Dyson Airstrait better. The REVLON is more affordable, but with the Dyson your hair looks so beautiful. With this One your hair didn't look smooth. I like the Dyson better.Of all the REVLON tools you have used this was my least favorite. Great video as always. keep up the good job. God bless You always. 💕

I liked the dyson result better. By the time you finished you could have use a round brush and a flat iron with better result. I agree with you it looks like it would make your hair get frizzy. 😩 I was hoping it was going to work so I could get it instead of the dyson but I think I’ll just go for the dyson instead

I think this would be more comparable to the Drybar Straight Shot Blow-Drying Flat Iron, since they both have heated plates. Just from the description of both.

I think this only makes sense if you’re trying to travel and one want to take one tool in your suitcase. Or if you’re looking for something without already owning a hairdryer or straightener.

Does the air and the heated plates work together or can you activate just air on its own, or do the heated plates automatically turn on with the air too! OMG I've been LOVING the Drybar Final Call! I just spray it all over my hair after styling (as the very last step) and my hair doesn't get as frizzy when I use it! It really is so worth it! I'm actually going to Texas soon so I'll put it to the test out there and film some tiktoks about it! 😝💕

Now my comment is gone!!!! Like i said before. Been watching you for years. Live in south africa. Worst country to get any new hairtools. Literally can only get it two years after you get it overseas. I ordered the original one step after i saw your first review. Waited two months for delivery, and then when i finally received it, it was broken. My husband thought it was hilarious. I literally cried. You can now finally get it here. But not any of the other vlow dry brushes. And not even the one step plus. Still not avail here. Really suck!!! I hope this will one day be available in south africa
