Nice build truly amazing. Well we can look at the evolution of the T-Bird and its history of coming from a 2 door and its power and beauty and where it ended up many years and engineering/body style changes. And the Mercury Cougar. Those were all manufactured into decent 4 door family cars but they eventually went away. I appreciate your honest opinion and vision for sure!

Love the rants Tom, although I beg to differ on your views to the Mustang platform. To make a crossover or 4 door Mustang would be akin to making a 4 door or crossover Corvette. No one would buy it, and they would just laugh at it. The Mustang and other iconic American sport cars are not and never were considered as a 'family' car save for a kiddie sized backseat. However, I am quite sure many a family was conceived in the backseat of a Mustang)) At any rate, the Mustang will live on as an icon BECAUSE it is and was what it is. If you want a family car, buy an SUV and drive your volume on that. The failure of making a Mustang something that it is not, was the Mustang EV. It fell flat on its face because the people buy a Mustang for a very special purpose and it doesn't include taking 6 people to soccer practice. Leave the sport cars for sport.

A 4 door "Mustang" isn't a Mustang - change the name, no problem. The Mach-e is not a Mustang
