I dont think electric motorcycles will work in real world. If they make motorcycle similar to toyota prius it would work definitely but fully electric big no no. Thats why there is no electric range rover or electric merc s class. The moment the manufacturers make fully electric vehicles for upper class society thats when it will fully work. The bike is IP67 water rated so you can ride it underwater also and wash however you want. If there is powercuts of course you can not charge it at that time. The battery swapping stations might be keeping diesel generators too to combat such issues

Coz it actual original speed is 120 kmph but it is electronically limited to 85 kmph for safety reasons and not to overheat the battery as well as the motor too much and also running the bike at top speed will also drain the battery quickly.

I suspect that sort of like Tesla’s Ridiculous mode, Revolt will eventually unlock a fourth mode which is all performance and no range and that mode will bring the bike to 100+ kmph top speed

Until the electricity that charges the bike comes from eco-friendly sources like solar/wind, this bike will never be a 100% eco-friendly. If we still generate electricity from generators, nuclear power plants then its the same thing as owning a ICE bike. At the end of the day it all comes down to Carbon footprint.

How much units does the battery consume from 0 to 100. ? How secure is the bike? I mean fingerprint or passcode to start? Or just short 2 wires?. What if a 3rd party vendor battery is used.? How does it perform on a Rainy day, are there any Voltage leaks which can be harmful to rider on wet conditions? How much weight can it pull at a speed of 45 to 50kmph? Are there any cold start problems? If the Bike on off GPS can be accessed via cloud what's the mode of communication sim card or internet dongle with device certificates? What if the bike is stolen to a non network coverage location?

This particular bike is not so compelling (example: synthesized engine sound) but i am happy to see the race for EVs begin. Just wait for major manufacturers to jump in. Install 6 KW solar panel setup at home with two way meter and suddenly, EVs will make a lot more sense. It’s a long term investment for our pocket and the environment.

I booked RV 400 in December last year. owing to announcement made by Kejriwal that RTO fee will be waived off, I decided to cancel my booking and book it later. However, I later realised that Kejriwal is not going to implement it anytime before election so I thought to order again. Now, here comes the loophole for all revolters. Once you cancel a booking then you cannot book again with the same mobile number. You will have to use a different mobile number. Now, the number that you use to book revolt has to be with you throughout the life time of your revolt as said by one of the representative in customer service. I asked the lady what if one has to change the number for any reason, let say the mobile is lost or the number has to be changed. So, she responded that there is now way to change your mobile number. All revolt owners need not to worry till the time they got hold of their mobile number, problem starts when you don't have your mobile number anymore and you would need to reinstall your mobile app to setup with the bike. This brings another major drawback to my notice. Since, we cannot change the mobile number so it will not let me sell this bike because whosoever will buy your revolt would want to mobile access as well which Revolt wouldn't let that happen. I think you should make one video on this issue as well because Revolt does not believe that this is major concern hence they would not take it seriously unless it's spread with mass. I didn't find a single video that tell viewers about the loopholes in their system. This is not a problem with the motorcycle but this is certainly a lack of their infrastructure.

Sakshi Ojha battery is 3.24kwh. so 3.24 units of electricity assuming 6rs per unit, total cost of recharge is 22rs for 150km range, cost per km will be about 14paisa

Loved the first production electric bike review in India. Going electric surely will have its benefits on environment and pocket. But remember this is meant for cities only. Don’t compare it to IC engine bikes as this is really a motorbike as the name implies. This is mostly how the future after 30 year will look like except that future is going to be much more powerful. But there should be a start of everything, so we should applaud micromax for being first in industry rather than being harsh for negatives based on comparison with different technology.
