Last time when i purchased a battery scooter i suffered a lot bcoz of its range because back then the company claimed that it will go to 50 to 60 km per charge but in reality it hardly went above 30 km ever. Guys better purchase a bicycle rather than investing in these plastic electric toy. I know that electric vehicle is the future but we still need to wait 2 to 3 years for that...

300 model goes with 180km per charge in eco mode. But it's too pricy compared to petrol bikes, so all benefits get exhausted when we compare overall price of owning this bike.

I think there's this TVS bike coming, with to speed of 110 and range of 80, costing around a lakh.. @@SinghalLouis revolt 400 can be compared to 125cc bike which can be purchased for 70-75k and it's maintenance doesn't cost much. Tyre and other things don't wear away in such less time. Serviceability is a big question. Price of buying a new battery? No one knows. But still revolt is better than e-scooty which burns when you go up the steep flyover. Motor is weak for scooty. The mileage per charge will go down eventually in e-vehicles. I talked to e-rickshaw wala, he changes batteries every year. So maybe for us, it's 3 yrs for a battery. Maybe it costs atleast 25000 for a new battery. Include electricity charge of rs 6 a unit. We don't know how much it will consume for a full charge. So overall it will cost like a 250cc bike in its lifetime.

@@Dave_en battery has a warranty of 7.5 years, also you can swap batteries so it should be good for 10-12 years.. yes need to be changed every 2-3 years.. petrol cost for 20-25000 KM's would be huge.. my guess is Revolt will be much more economical in the long run, say in about 5 years, it'll be cheaper compared to 100cc bike..

Few points : 1. Pani mai chala k dikhao, bcoz we all know whats happening with rains, low to high flooding in all different parts of india, so detailed extreme water tests bhi batao if possible.. 2. Speaker: One of the primary reason for electric bikes is to control pollution, but adding a speaker just to make sound....sounds like sound pollution..zabardasti ka 3. price it Should have been below even below 90k to promote use of electric vehicle over fueled one, that will encourage people to adopt a stylish electric bike.. 4. Since this is an electric bike, so what about registration with RTO ? Do we need to get it registered or not like other electric scooty dont need any registration..so what about this ? 5. wireless key- hacking and get stole probablilty is there.. looks wise its good though...for an electric bike

Great effort actually, but this technology is still too new to adapt... let others continue to buy while I watch the electric 2 wheeler market grow. I wont pay more than 65000 for this bike coz basically it has a bike frame ,wheels an electric motor and battery... also the range feels like a petrol bike that come with 2.5 liter fuel tank. too f less. and if anyone has ever done a battery replacement in warranty then they know its depreciation based warranty not an out right no cost replacement. this is like the first generation android that was launched 10 ..12 yrs ago... I'll wait for atleast a few yrs. currently thinking of Kawasaki Vulcan or ktm 390 for the weekend and waiting for kymco 300 for daily use hopefully the honda forza 300 is also here so that I can make a better comparison, plus I have my trusty civic for the rainy day

Ni bhai 150 km thodi na chalyega daily bike Ko. Jyada se jyada 1 week me 2 bar charge karni padegi. Main to Lene ki soch Raha hai. Pulsar 200 me sirf maintenance ka 1.5 saal me 10000 se jyada kharcha a Gaya. Or fuel ki cost alag se.
