I had to go back and really listen to this interview. Although, it was hyped by Irv talking abt Ashanti, it's so much more great content that just that topic. Irv was honest, transparent, drunk, funny and animated during this interview and that makes him the ultimate guest and story-teller. Irv gives insight into the Rocafella split and it made sense! Irv confirmed what I always believed abt Tupac's death and he provided context to what happened b/t him and JLo. Who knew it was b/c he was angry at Tommy Matola for calling another POC the "Nword".??? This gave more insight into the making of Mariah Carey and how her career/sound was more urban after divorcing T.Matola. This interview made me respect and appreciate Ja Rule more. To me this is #1 Drink Champs interview to date.
