why would he diss either??? He's not a "stan". But really it's usually Pac "stans" I hear diss Big. Plus remember back then Pac was seen as a NY dude who just stayed in Oakland. Pac was still very NY back then and was friends with all the NY rappers. That's why Pac loved to be in NY movies. He felt like he was back home. That changed after he got shot - but people around back then remember Pac was still a Harlem/Bronx dude with a little Oakland mixed in.

CL Smooth was cool with Pac before DR & after Digital Underground. Ppl forget Pac was always in NY from 91, 92, 93, 94, 95 up until the shooting. He was only on DR for just about a year not yearS. Pac was all over the 5 boroughs, New Rochelle etc. Bro was bouncing from LA to ATL to NY regularly. One week he's hanging out with E-40,Governor, Richie Rich, Spice 1 in the Bay. Next week he's in ATL with Erick Sermon, Left Eye. Next week he's in Quenns with the Live Squad, Ed Lover to BK with Biggie to Mt Vernon with Hev, Dj Alamo, CL & Pete Rock. Next week he's in LA with Warren G, Thug Life (the group). Next week he's in Texas with Scarface & Devin The Dude. He was national with his. Pac was all over these New York. Remember my uncle telling us he was in a basement party in Queens. Just some local shit and he was big name at the time. Remember seeing him at Manhattan Proper (Sports Bar + Stand Up Comedy) on 217th & Linden Blvd in Queens when i was hanging with my cousin who lived on that side of town. We were in Kams Kitchen (Chinese restaurant), saw him pull up and he had to walk past Kams. All my cousins and our homies were shook to say what up.... So I said it, he replied with 'what up lil' ni99a!' 'me: it's all good, Pac! Nodded his head and kept it moving. That was in' 95.
