if i was to do a lip advent calendar it would have 25 days, 5 colours schemes (red, pink, nude/brown, purple, a crazy colour or maybe a burgundy), and for every colour scheme it would have a lipstick, lipgloss, lip liner, matte liquid lipstick, and maybe a lip balm or metallic liquid lipstick or something fun. and i would probably present it similar to the amazon beauty advent calendar. i would sell it for £25 maybe and all the products will be full size !

Tbh I feel like it's good that they put in diff shades/ undertones of pinks/oranges/reds because then it will reach out to diff skin tones. I like the fact that they put in best selling/ popular colours rather than just putting in a lip colour that people rarely buy for the sake of 'selling it'. I'd rather have shades that are wearable rather than crazy colours that I probably would never wear so 🤷🏻‍♀️ but that's just my opinion!

I thought the colours were decent, nude pinks, vibrant pinks, dusky pinks, deep reds, vibrant reds, deep browns, orangey red, quite a variety and obviously you said you wanted matching lip liners so for every shade of pink lipstick there was a gloss or liner so clearly there will be a lot of pink #freethepink

Did u know that the bottom part of the lipsticks come of as lipglosses (there’s a section of colour on the bottom of the lipstick and it comes off)

I’m late but Yano 🤷‍♀️ ok so there’s a lot of simmilar colours but it’s also for all year round who’s gonna use 25 lip colours in a month? It would expire before the next year. There could have been more colours to cater to all skin tones but I do think most will suit most skin tones 🤷‍♀️ and most people don’t want crazy colours because most people won’t wear them daily🤷‍♀️ that’s just my option tho

If each day works out to cost £1.60 it’s not saving you any money at all as the products you get inside are the £1 ones that revolution used to sell before they got popular and expanded their range, I feel like all the advent calendars they release are just full of old products that don’t sell well or are from their product range before they turned into ‘revolution beauty’ in my opinion all the advents calendars are overpriced and the things you get inside aren’t very good

I don’t think the colours are bad at all. If you are like me and use two colours at the same time - it’s fab. One darker colour and lighter colour in the inner lips. Also it’s fab they have included the liners. I thought nudes/pinks are used quite a bit? My friends only wear this colour and as a makeup artist myself, these colours are used more so that you think. Especially if you’ve got plump lips or fillers - the pinks are definitely used much more. But that's just something I’ve noticed. Thanks to your advent calender reviews I’ve got ALL three revolution calendars and the NYX calendar. My other half is going to KILL ME!!!!!!! I’m blaming YOU!!!😂😂😂😂
