I'm so glad you finally talk about the other elephant in the room. Population growth. And in a really constructive and informative way. 👌
@brandonbakhtiar74512 жыл бұрын
@@dogarualexandru-stefan Good point! Technology can only enable so much. We currently, and since 1970 we have been adding 82+ million net per year. That's like adding the population of California every 6 months...and we have been doing that since 1970. That absolutely contributes to the decreasing social stability we see all about us these days. It's a tough topic for the rich will have their views about who should be allowed to have kids and then there is an argument that raising kids should require an ability to provide for them but then who decides where that standard is? It smacks of eugenics and fascism and must be handled but very carefully. around 1800 for world population to reach one billion, the second billion was achieved in only 130 years (1930), the third billion in 30 years (1960), the fourth billion in 15 years (1974), and the fifth billion in only 13 years (1987).
@dogarualexandru-stefan2 жыл бұрын
@@brandonbakhtiar7451 yes, your right. Technology and ephemeralization can only increase our acces to a better life but 1 thing technology can't do is adding more space for the growing pop. Physical space is the determining factor of pop growth. I am aware of the calculations Peter did in his book about how much people this planet can sustain, trough technology and good management of resources, but the problem is there simply is not enough space for more people without funder damaging the environment and the ecosistems present on our planet. Wich currently is the only" technology "we have to maintain liveable conditions (atmospheric gas concentration, clean water, nice weathe, fertile soil,etc)...and pop control must happen. First trough education and the by law. For ex. We can make an iq test well though, wich is not subject to monetary incentive and couples that have an iq less or equal to 120 are not allowed to have kids, couples with iq 120 till 160 are allowed 1 kid and couples over 160 are allowed to make as many kids they want. Couples who don't meet the requirements can always adopt. This way we depopulate without violence and we increase the overall iq of the pop. Today the more pop the less the average iq is. Wich leads to the ones with higher iq profiting and exploiting the ones with less iq.

God damn this was eye-opening! I love these podcast episodes and am always excited to see these released. I use the knowledge that I learn through these podcasts to debate the leadership at my corporate job. They have never once had anything intelligent to say after this kind of knowledge is provided and they actually hear it. They triple down on their identity associations they have developed within the system. They are more concerned with preserving and maintaining their identity in this dysfunctional system than they are with objectively looking at and understanding a new train of thought. Nonetheless, I pursue them relentlessly and will never give up this fight, even as it makes me a black sheep within the company. Keep up the good work Peter, you are doing some of the most important work of our time!

Haha, cool man, I'm doing the same, online and in real life, never talk about bs like soccer and even take over such obscurantism conversations in a sympathic way, not just because it is important, but also because such conversations make me sick. And exactly this is how most people react, re-act, go into self-preservation and protectionism mode without thinking, but I break through this by saying something like "let's just imagine... dream a little...", just so the people allow themselves to use their imagination of what is possible, to dream about the "world" they want to live in. But this is where the real struggle begins since people are used to dictatorship and irresponsibility and expect you to have a full concept to say that it will be a dictatorship afterwards because it is my ideas, my concept. To prevent this you need a lot of experience about such conversations and say right away that you have ideas and a concept but this can't work this way because it isn't about moving from one dictatorship to another but about responsibility of everyone, the first real democracy in human history based on facts, on science and not beliefs, opinions etc. (I wrote this so often that SwiftKey recommended me the entire sentence from 'ideas' word by word, lol), at this point, saying the word "responsibility", most just disappear, exactly those who would say that I am advocating for dictatorship if I would offer ideas right away, but it is good like that, saves a lot of time so I always use this word. But without Peter it would be so much harder, I'm not sure if I would be able to do it if I couldn't learn from Peter how to express myself properly talking about this things.

@@Wilson84KS I'm glad there are many others taking the knowledge from these podcasts and putting it to good use, at least to the best of their abilities. It's definitely difficult going against the grain every day. I dont even care anymore that I am the balcksheep and often ostracized for my differing perspectives. I know it's the correct train of thought and that's all that matters. I too, once simp'd for the system (not knowing anything else other than the system I was birthed into). Without the zeitgeist trilogy and all the work Peter has put out over the years, I very may have still been in that same boat today! I am thankful for all of these podcasts, etc...that he puts out because without them, I don't think I could coherently talk about these complex subject matters. It has become much easier and more natural for me over time though. It's just hilarious to hear the people I interact with daily in the corporate sphere how they rationalize and justify their thought process and the systems empirical nature itself. After they run out of stupid arguments, they start getting real crazy. I had one guy finally say to me "you can either have this system or else you must be for North Korea". Just completely absurd statements absent of any logic. To them it's either "this or that." Everything is black and white to them. So conditioned and indoctrinated, they can't see outside their narrow world view. It doesn't bother me though, it's entertaining to watch their circular arguments. Nonetheless, I'm glad you too are fighting the good fight! Peter will be remembered in history for all of his hard work, it may not be now, but when all the dust settles eventually, there will be nowhere else to turn except this train of thought which is much more sustainable and healthy!
@Wilson84KS2 жыл бұрын
@@brett9176 Ouh yes, the good old "North Korea"-argument, usually thrown after "human nature" before completely going nuts after all the memorized phrases are used up, yesterday someone in a tlgrm chat sent me to CITE, the one billion dollar ghost town in New Mexico after a short conversation about the Venus Project, I mean wtf. he really compared this just because there is a closed circle road around the ghost town 🤣 This is also how I see "our community" of the "zeitgeisters", a bunch of individuals that feel responsible and take the responsibility consciously or unconsciously knowing that we don't have to be communities because we are one species living on the same planet and that everyone's decisions have an influence on everyone and everything else. And I have a lot of respect for people that break out of this conditioning, especially looking at those who can't. I myself grew up in the end of the soviet union on a kolkhoze where money had no value and people just did what they could thinking the way "who if not me?" and "I see, I can, I do" instead of "why always meeee, someone clean my toileeet!", expressing it this way feels like romanticizing, but it was actually like within natural tribes, and so after moving to germany it was very hard and still is, only the obesity and irresponsibility part is just disgusting, how can they write something about human dignity in their law books with such conditions, where adults sit in job interviews bend and afraid like hardly disturbed children? Well, because people have no idea what dignity is, not even the lawmakers themselves. But yes, if there will be a future with a past, then this movement like all the people before and within it, all the passengers of this train of thought will be named in history books, just to show future generations that if we cooperate and work towards the same goal based on science, then there will be much less weight on everyones shoulders and we will always be able to make the best from the worst, the history itself will be the evidence, it will be the darkest times of humanity in history books future generations won't be able to imagine and have nightmares learning about it, the worst horror movies will be documentaries about today.

That’s great that you are doing that. I’ve had many online discussions with people on these issues and I find quite quickly that they never have any factual or intelligent responses to counter the core problem that market capitalism is unsustainable and we need system change. They have no clue other than the capitalistic propaganda they’ve been fed and repeat. What I want to do is start locally sharing and expressing more truths about a logical train of thought out of this bad direction we are headed. I know I live in a very conservative area so it would come with a lot of detractors but I still wonder what would happen in a “Ted Talk” like format with a Q and A afterwards. Peter had done the podcast on capitalism myths so I could compile those and it would answer most objections I would think.

Peter, you continue to surpass yourself. Spot on! I'd suggests that UK politics has become the 2 party system of USA since marketing (Saatchi Saatchi) has been deployed to further RW politics for the benefit of fat cats - Thatcher to 'New Labour' (more market capitalism in sheep's clothing) to Trump style extremes run by 'think tanks' and a farce of Prime Minister turnover right now. I've always considered a vote to be a hope for change. Unlike the USA, despite gerrymandering and social media influencing, we do have a Green MP and a few Liberals to hold the main 2 parties to account. As a Green I have to vote tactically in the hope that that a proportional representation can be delivered, stress on hope. Brings me to EU and Brexit. Not that the EU is without fault but it does demonstrate democracy and accountability which Trump, Putin and oligarchs hate - especially when they would be taxed and their ecosphere damaging model for their wealth is under threat by regulation. As any democracy the people that vote within it are problematic, especially when they have a barrage of media encouraging them to consume and 'lefties' would stop them enjoying life when in a farcical sense they're cutting off the branches they perch upon. I recall Bucky Fuller coming up with a thought about more more people being able to think and collaborate for future solutions - clearly taken out of context to mean more consumers to 'innovate', I hate that word too working in IT within the medical industry to have become a cash cow from ills and ailments to not address inequality as our greatest 'disease'. I have set myself a task to address UK Labour's 'Green Manifesto'. It falls far short of what you have presented here. Thanks again for all you continue to do. 💚🗺🍃

Something which reveals how the monetary system is artificial, and not based upon human nature - is that the word 'ambitious' use to have a negative connotation, and did 'til rather recently. There are plenty of examples of this, but the most famous would be Mark Antony's speech from 'Julius Caesar'. In the last century or so the word began to be used in a neutral context, but since the birth of neo-liberalism 'ambitious' has sadly become a compliment.

A few days before this podcast was aired a colleague of mine and I had an I interesting conversation from which I emerged rather agitated. The subject got round to electric cars. I was trying to state that electric cars will not solve climate issues if the current consumption patterns are maintained . In other words we need to cut down the amount of vehicles produced. If every human wants to drive their own car the environmental consequences of extracting all the materials needed would be catastrophic. To cite but one example take Lithium. It takes 500.000 gallons of water to produce just one ton of Lithium! And this is but one of the numerous materials that are needed for the production of electric vehicles. When I tried to explain this to my colleague he turned round and stated “ Oh Musk said it would be fine, so he must be right” . I did not pursue this argument with him because I was not getting anywhere. Indeed the most infuriating aspect about this was not just my colleagues ignorance. It was more his inability to grasp that he may be misinformed. I cannot imagine where the debate would have led had I said “ well he would say that since he owns a brand of electric cars. Maybe you should ask farmers in Peru Chile and Argentina where Lithium mining has poisoned rivers killing off freshwater ecosystems and making it impossible for them to irrigate their crops. ( Source Jason Hickle in Less is More) The way forward is ideally to have less vehicles on the road. This would be optimised by a huge paradigmatic shift from ownership to sharing. For everyone to own their own car and to entertain more people on the planet also owning one is utterly insane. And we were only speaking about transport. Why have so many people out there lost the ability to say “ you know I think you have a point, I may have to rethink my stance on my viewpoints. Apologies for the lengthy comment. Great podcast as ever. Ta.

Humans are significantly programmable, and once we are programmed the conditioning can stick around for a long time if not a lifetime. The ability to change ones habits is probably fairly rare though that is likely changing. The last part you mentioned is so important right now, hanging around in all the "social networks" I run against walls all the time, only very few people are questioning the foundation of all the problems today, everyone is only crying about them but as soon someone offers alternatives, without even being clear what they mean, the steel wall of "but socialism..." "but communism..." pops up, and mentioning the word "responsibility" they all just disappear, the best thing to do if you want an empty chat room, just write the word "responsibility". Hi Peter, some thoughts - Politics is simply dealing with the tension between the individual (the right) and the collective (left) . The left and right tension has been around since civilization. It is dealing with the necessity of work. As we evolve technology will resolve that necessity and thus resolve the individual and collective tension. Also, as we evolve, a new leadership paradigm will emerge that will not take advantage of this tension. We can change the world by introducing this new leadership paradim now.

Leadership is dictatorship and irresponsibility of the masses, no human being can take the responsibility of millions or even billions, everyone will break down and develop extreme hatred against humans, no matter how good the intentions of leaders are, they always become dictators. In a real economy using technology the last thing we would need is another superjesusadolfman, time to grow up and take the own responsibility and be aware of what we do and which consequences it has, the first step is to stop this infantile bs "but I waaant that mimimimi, give! do! now! buhuhuhu, someone clean my toilet! buhuhahu".

My point of view is that we should adopt a better system not based on exploitation. However, I do believe this monetary system (sadly) can go for another century, and that we are not overpopulated and that climate is not deadly and it won't be for thousands of years... I just don't want a world full of unnecessary suffering.

I miss TZM. The more I talk to left-wing activists, the more I realize that they have no concrete ideas. Just sort of vague notions of justice. Rich: How would we build something like a vertical farm distribution system in an anarchist mode of production? Random lady: Why would we do that? Rich: ...Because people need food. Lady: Our goal is to dismantle coercive systems. Rich: My goal is to create material abundance sustainably and to distribute it equally. Freedom from coercion naturally follows from that. TZM (and the Venus Project) were the only movements I've encountered that tackled these problems from a technical perspective instead of just preaching vague concepts of justice

Yeah I see those donations and positive things that people like Elon Musk and Bill Gates give kind of like the way I see it when the queen has been put on a pedestal for doing similar things and that is in my clearest view. It's nothing compared to what they could do and it only gives us false perceptions about how rich people are helping the poor. Because this doesn't happen enough for it to actually be useful for many people. Of course those people that did and does help I understand that they would be hopefully appreciative in some way I mean if the system gives you something we can acknowledge that the system gave us something or if a person gives us something we can acknowledge that and it's not a bad thing but when you know deep down that they're just doing it because they want to promote the system that's making them rich. It gets a little bit murky..

More or less people is another absurdity of the money/market religion, on the one hand there must be more and more people for more and more demand and on the other hand it is based on scarcity and inefficiency, stuck in the malthusian trap that is used to excuse the fact that 4.7 billion tons of food are disposed every year while three billion people are permanently wrong or undernourished, the difference is that the first option is an religious belief and the second option the reality, masses of people are getting slaughtered in official and shadow wars, especially now in the shadow of the war in ukraine, all the done work is destroyed as the ultimate planned obsolescence to preserve the income for labor paradigm and so the entire money/market religion.

It is more about deforestation and covering the planet with concrete and asphalt, CO² itself is not the main problem, it is as usual a combination of "externalities", from lawnmowing to making extremely huge holes into the planet for some gold dust.
@supersaiyanzero3862 жыл бұрын
Tldr: greenhouse effect so yes There is not really any man-made CO2...technically. It all was already there. We accelerated the rate at which is was polluting the atmosphere causing a greenhouse effect with slash and burn (albedo, but not on any extreme level)and then through (inefficient) industrialization. Simply put the sun's rays reflect off of the surface of Earth but more and more is getting trapped in the atmosphere. Interestingly this effect was actually responsible for the great Texas freeze a couple of years ago by disrupting the polar vortex, causing cooler air from the upper atmosphere to be pushed down. Climate change is an extremely deadly thing to accelerate, and there are many, MANY angles to it. It's kind of amusing that people who are anti immigration tend to be climate change deniers, as there's going to be a mass destabilizing as tons of people move inward from coastal areas that flood. And it's already happening. When millions start flooding in because their environment is no longer habitable what is the right wing excuse going to be?

Justin Trudeau was found to have violated four provisions of the conflict of interest act in having traveled to the Aga Khan's private island on three separate occasions, all while the Canadian government has given over $300 million to projects supported by the Aga Khan Foundation[1]. Including $50 million given directly to the Foundation in 2016, one of the years in which Trudeau visited the island[2]. It is peculiar that the Canadian government would use taxpayer money to finance initiatives of one of the wealthiest individuals on the planet, with recent estimates of his net worth at over $13 billion[3]. Even more curious is the nature of who the Aga Khan is. The Aga Khan claims to be a direct descendant of the prophet Mohammed, and is the religious leader of millions of Ismaili Muslims. Ismailism has a history of being an occult religion practiced in secrecy, and preaches an esoteric interpretation of the Quran based on Hermetic teachings[4]. Hermeticism is an ancient philosophy which claims to hold the teachings of the Greek god Hermes amongst others. Hermes is known as a shepherd of men, the deity of gain (either honest or dishonest)[5], and the patron of thieves, tricksters and liars[6]. As the only Olympian capable of crossing the boundary between the living and the dead, Hermes is said to serve as the conductor of souls to Hades[7]. Hermeticism asserts that there is a single, true theology which was given by God to some of the first humans, and that traces of which may still be found in various ancient systems of thought. It is not a coincidence that the Hermetic symbol, the Caduceus, can be found in the lap of the Baphomet, the central deity of Satanists (and the Knights Templar). Since Satan is described as a shapeshifter that takes on many forms and guises, this allows Satanists to look at various pagan practices throughout history and state that these various pagan gods were simply various forms that Satan has taken throughout history. Satanism is truthfully just another form of Hermeticism, as both are attempts at unifying numerous pagan beliefs under a single world religion, the perfect companion for a world government. It is for this very reason that Aga Khan lll was made President of the League of Nations in 1937, the first attempt at a single governmental body for the entire planet. It is also not a coincidence that Freemasons openly state: "Freemasonry is the purest inheritor of the Metaphysics and Symbology of the Hermetic Tradition”[8]. The wealthiest family in Canada, the Thomson family is a key component of the Canadian cabal of Satanic globalists as they own Thomson Reuters (largest news service in the world), and the Globe & Mail (largest newspaper in Canada), amongst a large portfolio of other companies. Their propaganda is incredibly powerful, as it is through propaganda that the narrative is constructed and consent is manufactured. Chrystia Freeland, Deputy Prime Minister of Canada and Minister of Finance, worked at both Reuters and the Globe & Mail, and she represents the extremely wealthy Toronto riding of Rosedale where the Thomson family lives. She also has a family history in the industry as her grandfather was a high ranking N@Z1 propagandist[9]. Additionally, she sits on the Board of Trustees of the World Economic Forum along with Mark Carney, former governor of the Bank of Canada and the Bank of England[10]. Note that Klaus Schwab, founder and Executive Chairman of the WEF, also has a family history of collaborating with the N@Z1$. It is unfortunately poorly understood that NAZI ideology was based on the teachings of Madame Blavatsky and her Satanic Theosophical cult[11]. NAZI ideology was actually a rejection of Christianity in favour of reinterpreted pagan Germanic beliefs. Widespread human sacrifice as well as the use of the Swastika across the globe was supposedly proof that large swaths of the world had once been ruled by the mythical Aryan race[12]. One should note that the definition of “Holocaust” is “a sacrifice consumed by fire”[13]. Just like Satanism and Hermeticism, NAZI ideology was a melting pot of pagan beliefs and practices, truthfully it is hard to distinguish NAZI beliefs from Satanism[14]. In the infamous video where Klaus Schwab brags “we penetrate the cabinets” of governments around the world[15], David Gergen, former Counselor to President Bill Clinton, can be seen seated across from Klaus on stage. Alex Jones interviewed Gergen about his involvement in Bohemian Grove where Gergen admitted to attending, and chastised Jones for violating the understanding of secrecy related to the event[16]. Alex Jones notoriously infiltrated Bohemian Grove and captured video footage of the event, bringing international attention to the debaucherous gathering of global elites in the forests north of San Francisco where a “mock” human sacrifice is performed in front of a giant owl deity representing the pagan deity Moloch. Andrew Coyne, another star propagandist at the Thomson owned Globe & Mail, had a father, James ELLIOTT Coyne, who was a Liberal appointed Governor of the Bank of Canada. The Prime Minister of the time, John Diefenbaker, famously fired Coyne in what would go on to be called the Coyne Affair, calling Coyne "a communist in sheep's clothing". Andrews Coyne's cousin, Deborah Coyne, also had a child in secret with Pierre ELLIOTT Trudeau[17] (Justin Trudeau's claimed father). Exactly how closely related Pierre and Deborah were remains a question to be answered. Both Chrystia Freeland and James Elliott Coyne were Rhodes scholars. The Rhodes scholarship was set up by Cecil Rhodes who monopolized South African and Rhodesian (now called Zimbabwe) diamond mines with Rothschild financing. Rhodes was exposed working with Nathaniel Rothschild and others to set up a secret society with the stated purpose of ruling the world in secret[18]. Other Canadian Rhodes scholars include: John Evans (chairman of the Rockefeller Foundation), James Gibson (private secretary to William Lyon Mackenzie King), George Ignatieff (father of Michael Ignatief), David Lewis (key architect and leader of NDP), Bob Rae and countless other elitists in politics, universities and elsewhere. Marc Kielburger of WE Charity scandal fame was also a Rhodes scholar. In 2020, Trudeau awarded a sole-source $900 million contract to Marc Kielburgers WE Charity which had paid Justin Trudeau’s family over $512,000 to speak at their events[19], and had initially lied by stating that they had never done so[20]. WE was also found to have lied about the construction of hundreds of projects, with massive amounts of funds unaccounted for[21]. Bill Morneau, the Minister of Finance at the time, had personally enjoyed an all expenses paid vacation to Ecuador paid for by WE in addition to having a daughter who worked for the charity. Just hours before 5,000 pages of heavily redacted documents on the scandal were released, Justin prorogued Parliament for over a month in order to avoid questioning. Truthfully, WE has always been a Liberal propaganda department masquerading as a charity, filling stadiums with young Canadians and encouraging them to vote Liberal in order to “save the world”. One example of a conflict of interest in the Thomson propaganda machine can be found in the fact that the ex-CEO of Thomson Reuters, Jim Smith, now sits on the board of Pfizer and is involved with multiple initiatives with the World Economic Forum. A prime example of the Thomson family attempting to control the narrative can be found in Thomson Reuters firing their Director of Data Science for the thought crime of demonstrating that the data does not demonstrate disproportionate targeting of blacks by police[22]. They can't have this truth come out because it would destroy the narrative they have created to keep us divided. You can read up on the Thomson family in a Maclean's article available online which talks about how the Thomson family likes to spend Christmas with the Rothschilds, how Mayor of Toronto, John Tory, is the son of Ken Thomson's right hand man, and how David Thomson admits to being "a secret member of a secret order”[23]. It should be noted that beyond John Tory's close relationship with the Thomson Family, John Tory was a friend to the late Ted Rogers and served as President and CEO of Rogers Media (parent company of Citytv), and later as President and CEO of Rogers Cable (Canada's largest cable television service provider and the largest shareholder of CPAC, a Canadian version of C SPAN)[24]. To this day, Tory continues to be paid $100,000 per year for serving on the "advisory committee" to the Rogers Control Trust which owns 97.5% of Rogers. These relationships further solidify the cabal's iron grip on the mass media in Canada. In another Maclean's article available online you can read up on the Rothschild family and their long history of influence in Canada[25]. This includes purchasing Canadian land larger than the combined size of England and Wales. The article also talks about how the Rothschilds have a strict policy of intermarriage (incest) so as that they "don't have to share secrets that way". The Thomson's curiously spent $115 million in 2002 to purchase "The Massacre of the Innocents" a painting depicting the biblical scene in which King Herod orders the execution of all male children two years old and under in an attempt to murder Jesus[26]. The painting features a man murdering a baby by smashing it's head against a concrete column with his bare hands while standing on a pile of dead babies.

"No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money." Matthew 6:24 Haha this is curious. Peter Joseph is preaching the true Gospel message of Jesus Christ, lost because of mankinds greed. The problem is we all serve and worship money. That includes 96% of all professing Christians. Joseph has paved away to peace from the outside in. But this problem has to be tackled from the inside out. From the soul to society. Thats where God will help you, whiles you help him. Joseph you need away to unify people into one body of belief. Thats where Jesus Christ will help as a head figure. Whether you like it or not this message you are sharing is 100% aligned with the true message of Christ. The problem is no one knows Jesus's true message anymore, because of the root of all evil You dont even have to profess to be Christian if you dont want. But expose the fact that 96% percent of Christian world doesn't even follow Jesus's teachings. Because if they did I promise the world would resemble the vision you have for it. Dont focus your attack on the credibility of Jesus, focus your attack instead on those who falsely claim to follow him. Then you will set a fire that will inspire change in those who are asleep. Who knew that the true message of God would be preached outside the faith. Matthew Chp 5,6,7 (sermon on the mount) this will teach how to starve this economic beast, you have to change the soul of man first, only the fear of God does that. Read it and find away to present it to our cultural context and audience. Then change will arise. Jesus died trying to fight this economic beast. If you are not willing to die for it, then the vision will never live.
