The Tory representative is FURIOUS, and he _is_ in power. The communist representative is calm and pretty factual (other sources agree) and not at all in power - ever in the UK in living memory. At the same time so many in the electorate are shit scared by anything “socialist” - now, _that_ scares me. Arguments and issue aside for a moment, which one of just these two voices simply _sound_ most threatening…? 🙄

MPs on the wrong side of history never want to be held accountable for their complicity! No wonder. They live in a world of corporate influence and illusion. Late Stage Capitalists in decline. They've got no facts or rational argument so they just try to speak over the truth being told and twist it. If you are an MP and don't want protests at your home if you are on the side of government that is complicit in war crime then DON'T BECOME A PUBLIC OFFICIAL or vote on the wrong side of history. How many people do you think are coming to George Galloway's house to protest his views on Palestine? If anything, they come to thank him and work with him.

Almost the best thing with any of these clips of gb news, talk tv etc. is when they finish having a mostly serious debate and then the clip keeps on running on to when they announce the next thing they're about to report on, which usually goes like "Thanks a lot Chris and Jenifer for coming on the show to speak about about Palestinian rights and protest. Anyway, sue from Aylesbury thinks her cats been acting a bit autistic recently after 5G was introduced to her local area, more on that coming after the break."

Why do people not read about communism before creating an opinion?
@iskrajackal90495 ай бұрын
Commumism is against the intetests of a tiny minority who own all the factories and possess vast wealth. They also control the media. Therefore communism is seldom mentioned but whenever it is, the narrative around it is pack of lies, partial truths and partisan 'facts'. That is why we seldom hear about it. If we had real democracy and an unbiased press then communism or socialism would be an extremely popular form of government, and a fairer way to organise a country, which takes us back to the starting point (the vested interests). If voting in the current system gained anything worthwhile then they wouldn't let us do it.

@iskrajackal90493 ай бұрын
@@scott0239 Communism is simply sharing resources as a commune (a group of people acting for the common good). The people who fear it are those who have far too many resources at the expense of the rest. That's why communism has so often been destroyed by nations with the highest inequality. For ecample Churchill wanted to delay demobilisation of World War 1 troops because he wanted them to invade communist Russia. British troops mutinied and refused to report back from leave, rightly arguing that Russia had only recently been Britain's allies against Germany. Britain in 1919 was never closer to revolution than in that year. Not even the 1926 General Strike came close to that level of discontent because Churchill's warmongering was so naked; the scales had fallen away from people's eyes.

Siri, tell me what happened to the revolutionaries after the communist took power. "Many early supporters of the Bolshevik regime were idealists who believed in the promises of socialism but were unaware of the harsh realities of Bolshevik policies. Once the regime solidified its power, many of these individuals were purged or suppressed if they showed any dissent or if their usefulness was deemed to have ended. Examples include members of the Socialist Revolutionary Party (SRs) and the Mensheviks who initially supported the Bolsheviks but were later imprisoned, exiled, or executed."
