Great tool! The minute you mentioned black hose I remembered I have a well hose where it comes into my house that was a bugger to stop leaking and when I finally replaced the 90 degree barb that had split I had to double worm clamp it to get the replacement to stop leaking as well. Since I had to rotate the black hose a bit the other end started leaking! Now I finally know what the solution is, so thanks! I’d suggest adding this video to that Playlist. Also, it’s always a good idea to pin pertinent links to the top of comments section. Just makes it easier and faster to either find something or bring it to your viewer’s attention.

I like your new clamp tool. I purchased one of your first version hose clamp tool. I use it for anything and everything I need to clamp. It is nice not having anything in the way like the bulky screw clamp. Great looking tool, I will be getting the new version. Anyone thinking about trying this tool go for it. Russ, would that tool be successful on 1", 2", and 3" hose?

Absolutely it’s the strongest clamp I have used. I blew a hydraulic line on a Sunday. Stuck a barbed fitting in and was able to finish out the day. Not that I would recommend using it on a high pressure line.
