It's great to see how well your business is progressing, I do find it inspirational. The new grow rooms are really fantastic, the sliding doors I haven't seen before but I think they will make life a lot easier, you wont miss the zippers!!! I've just bought a clean room from a Rolls Royce auction for the princely sum of £50 (around $70), it's made from glass fibre panels and measures 30' x 13' x 9', it will be insulated and clad on the outside with board, I'll probably split it into 3 grow rooms and ditch the tents, I think they are awful.

Great video! I’m curious about how you’re managing pest control within the insulated grow room panels setup. How stable is the environment inside the grow room compared to a traditional grow tent, especially for temperature, humidity, CO2 levels, and spore control? Have you noticed any difference in spore buildup between the two setups, and does it impact maintenance or air quality? I'd love to know if you’ve seen a difference in pest issues or production quality. Thanks!

It’s great with environment control! Our rooms are pretty stable at 60-64 degrees. They’re also so easy to pressure wash and clean. Pest are almost no problem as long as we stay on our cleaning schedule.

Nice work bro, can't wait to make it to your level. I'm getting some racks on casters in today. Did you find an ideal dimensions for the shelves? I spent more time than I'd like to admit calculating that lol

Awesome video again it's nice to see your expansion. Was wondering if I could come get some of your spent substrate ? I don't know what the process is. I saw something about Saturday mornings? I am a master composter converting a desert into a farm and I need your Substrate That is spend so I can inoculate my ground Please

Nice stuff .... quick question ... why do u have two types of bags .... BLACK ones and Transperant ones. I'm sure there must be a reason 😊
@longbeachmushrooms
@longbeachmushrooms 3 ай бұрын
The black ones are supposed to keep out light and reduce pinning which in theory gives better yields. I don't think it helped at all and we don't use them anymore.

3 tons of AC in one insulated grow area? Where is this grow op? Where is this heat coming from? Amazing operation I'm just curious where this heat load is coming from because I'm considering a commercial grow? Is it a CO2 issue? edit: I was just thinking, you oversized so you wouldn't be dehumidifying? What temperature are you maintaining? Are yields better at the lower end of the grow range? There may be a better more efficient way to achieve the conditions. I hope you read this. Let me know.

We are in southern california. I accepted that growing mushrooms is not going to be energy efficient. The general rule that I follow is have as much AC as you can afford. It's better to overpower especially since we can't recircle air due to spore load.

Thanks for another great video. How much extra production does this allow? You said you expect output to be 12-1500 lbs a week, which is amazing, but what were you doing before? Just trying to think about my own growth and what to expect. I'm currently at about 120 sq ft for my grow room, which I could use much more efficiently. I think that will suit me for a while yet, but I'm trying to keep my eyes on the future.. Thanks again.

Before we were doing 550-800 lbs a week in about 400sf of grow space when we were using tents. The number fluctuated depending on what strains we were growing.
