Hi there! Nice sack of records, this year we visit Copenhagen and didn’t found that beautiful To You - we lose the reissue and now the price is... Well, we found other things, new Jazz and old Psych Rock as Pan, Day Of Phoenix, The Savage Rose, … Copenhagen is a good city to buy records. Continue to share, kind regards from Portugal.

Thanks for reminding me of that Marcos Valle - it was the VC that turned me onto it in the first place - that first tune - wow!

I had no idea on how Chris McGregor ended up on Poor Boy, but that makes total sense to me. Makes me wanna find some McGregor stuff now. Thanks for sharing, Fred. A ton of tasty stuff on show here. Cheers- Dean

Hey Fred! Good to see you! Finally got some time to check in. That's a Tom Waits record I am not familiar with. The Jazz-Funk West Indies record sounds interesting. Will see if I find some sound samples of it. Yessss, Talking Heads! I have to actually credit you for bringing their music to my attention (before, I never knew anything else beyond Burning Down The House) Wow, seeing David Byrne live must have been teriffic! You never cease to amaze me with your music taste, thanks for showing the Carsten Meinert Kvartet! This sounds absolutely sublime. Hope I can catch this 2015 reissue somewhere. The Necks also sounds intriuing, damn, so much to check out! That's what I love your videos for. Didn't know that Chris McGregor plays on Bryter Layter! And hahaha, no way, you are subscribed to Mint?! How funny, I am also sure you are the only Australian subscriber! How cool! Haha yeah the article.. was a fun thing to do! (Even though they concentrated a bit too much on the vinyl destruction thing and I would probably save other records with more worth, haha) 😁 How funny that someone in the VC read this. What are the odds? That's cool! Such a great video with so many terrific music in it. Thank you. Hope you are well! Much love, Diana

Hey Diana it was cool to read about you in Mint. I started subscribing a couple of years ago (I was in Basel with Chris4127basket and they had Mint in the shops) so that I could read in German about a topic of interest. Anyway, glad you enjoyed the video. I was also gonna say, in March/April I am spending a month in Germany (Kassel, Hessen). I am taking a bunch of students on a school exchange. If you're around, it would be cool to go for a dig. I know it's still a while from now but anyway if you're up to it, then let me know. If not, then no sweat, I was only checking. Cheers.

Hey Fred, good to hear from you. How are you doing? Thank you for the heads up! Of course, I would love to dig with you! Kassel is actually just a 1 1/2 hour drive away from here so this will be easy to manage :) Awesome, looking forward to it! Around this time hopefully our own record shop will be set up as well 😊 A month long school exchange, how cool! And the area there is quite nice as well. Kassel also has some nice record stores :) have a nice weekend!

pitcher51blue yes indeed. Been on this VC thing since its very infancy (8 years now) and have met heaps of other local vc folk. Maybe one day we’ll bump into one another who knows?

Yes you never know. I have heard your username been mentioned by other members, always assumed you were based in the US.

Hi Fred. I got that McGregor at the Utrecht Fair 2 weeks ago. I really must listen to Beck. I only have Mellow gold which I bought on release. Cheers

Great stuff ! I can always rely on you to show something I might be interested in..you have a wide taste in music! I struggle with that myself.

Thanks. I try to keep interested in all sorts of things. It comes from reading music books largely, because your mind starts exploring the connections betweens bands, artists and genres.

Great collection of records shown. I still have not heard Sea Change. The Chris Bowden sounds like something I would dig. When it comes to Jazz I'm not in. Electric Jazz is my favorite.
