[REVOLUTIONS_REMIXED] Chapter 25.2: Incoming!

Revolutions Remixed is a fan edit combining elements of "The Matrix Revolutions", "The Animatrix" animated shorts, and the "Enter the Matrix" video game. The goal is to create a 2 hour film which is a tribute to the original work while presenting something completely new.

Lock is so obsessed with his responsibilities as commander that he alienates the ones who are close to him: Niobe still clearly has feelings for Morpheus; the Council keeps lowkey disavowing him; the fleet's crew call him "deadbolt" behind his back, and so on. He must be competent as hell off-screen, because the only respectable thing about the guy is his rank.

I gotta give credit to the acting of this guy at 1:10 when holographic confirms that it's the Hammer. In only a couple seconds on screen you really could see in his eyes the disbelief and then the immediate look of "Holy shit we might actually have a chance".

This movie was very important. It showed that even thought Neo was "The One" there were other incredibly talented heroes in the story. Niobe proved she was by far the best pilot in the world. When Niobe told Roland "Ill drive this one" He didnt say a word. He literally handed over his ship.

the fact that niobe driving the hammer the way she did with the limited tech of 2003's camera angle in this, the amount of 3D maneuvering here is insane. when she hit that exit at the end, the ship was supposed to fall due to gravity; niobe had morpheus charge the EM pads the maintain magnetism to above their ship instead so instead of falling, she fucking surfed the ceiling of that area in the mechanical line

They are actually separate captains of their own fleet. Niobe pilots the smallest (and most maneuverable) of the crafts and is the best at flying tricky areas. This is why she complains about the hammer because it is the BIGGEST in the fleet.

Mach Dude Niobe didn’t complain about the Hammer. All she said was that the tail end of the ship was big. However, she still handled the largest ship in the fleet because she is an incredible and dynamic driver, despite handling the smallest ship. She has the skill to pilot anything, despite the size she is up against. Morpheus said her piloting a mechanical line was a long time ago, which means their worry wasn’t about her piloting the biggest ship, it was about whether she could still navigate a mechanical and get them home. Niobe blatantly and confidently said she could and she did. No one in the captain category, outside of Niobe, can drive a mechanical line. She did a 270 flip in a tight space in the middle of an escape, that is a feat all on its own and one that hadn’t been done. She could do that with any ship, considering the Hammer is the largest of the fleet.

I wonder what would’ve happened if they didn’t blow the EMP when they made it to the dock. Since the machines retreated they wouldn’t risk coming back with a larger force, right? Which would make it easier to contain any stragglers trying to sneak in with the remaining human forces.

They probably had enough sentinels to fill that base 100 times over and replace every unit lost w/in the day. They beat humanity in a full world war and it shows. They're not even using war time units and strategy, just mass mop-up units.

@@CtisGaming This mop up unit is the scariest thing that zion people could ever face. Even the APU can't toe toe with one of them. If one them manage get on the APU , they dead. In the scene you can see one them can immobilize the APU just by using their tentacles wrapping body , leg and gun. That is one of reason i felt what the point of making a full armor cockpit. If it get torn down or laser cut through like in the Animatrix. They just be squeeze to death by those tentacles. If one of the Sentinel get on you , you pretty much dead meat or some people think that put on more armor to shake them up allow them to shoot back. Honestly do you think a mech like that can shake off a squid that wrap around your body.

@@thanhhoangnguyen4754 Yeah, the sentinels are crazy awesome! When said they're mop up units I wasn't insulting them. That's the role they accel at. Humans, hover ships, bases- when dealing with the remnants of humanity, the sentinel is the best option.

Letting the rest of the machines at the dock shut off the entrance before the ship arrives. Truly Amazing on their part
