Joe Grim Ha, absolutely! I've been trying to find out the answer to that for a while now, which of them (Arthur or Alice) came first. It's pretty hazy, but if Arthur came first, then Alice flat-out ripped him off.and stole Arthur Brown's look, as seen in Arthurs' "Fire" video. The makeup is practically identical, and the music isn't all that dissimilar either. But if you really want to go back, I would say Screamin' Jay Hawkins started it all. Shit, Marilyn even covered his "I Put a Spell on You."

Manson's initial reaction when Dee Snider calls him over is so funny, especially as it's obvious he's reluctant to go over. It reminds me of Madonna's reaction years ago when she was on the MTV awards show. She was being interviewed by MTV host Kurt Loder & he sees Courtney Love arriving & calls her over. Madonna reacts by saying to him, "Please don't call her over," but by then Courtney is on her way over, very drunk. The rest is history as Courtney Love turns the interview into a drunken farce & Madonna makes her exit as quickly as is humanly possible!

His hair and makeup here actually remind me a lot of his Golden Age of Grotesque look, just with a little more weight. I'd hardly call the man fat, though. I'd say compared to how bony thing he was back in the 90s, he looks fat, but I think in reality he'd be of perfectly healthy weight. Also, he's simply aging, and the loosening skin under his lower jaw makes it appear that he's carrying more weight than he really is. Can't wait for his new album to come out.
